My friend, would you like to have the most beautiful day ever? Yes, a day where you can say how wonderful it was for you, how fantastic it was that you experienced the most joy and happiness ever. That day then, is not related to you thinking about yourself and the experience you're having. That day is related to you and your willingness to give yourself away. You know how you feel when you volunteer somewhere; you do something great for a big project. But you can do that every day. You can give yourself away every day. You know, research, and I was reading about whichearlier, shows that when you're not thinking about yourself so much and thinking more about others, you have more happiness. Most of us do things for others expecting something they return to us. And that doesn't work either. Just doing something nice for someone can create the most beautiful emotion inside you. So today, do some nice things without expecting anything back from others, see how well your day goes, and smile all the while. And by the way, you don't have to tell anyone what you're doing.
