My going out routine

from Today’s Gut Health Tip · host Melissa Hall Klepacki, M.Ac.

Today I share my tricks for going out at night. In a nutshell - First,  if I am going out to dinner I will look at the menu earlier in the day and decide what I will be ordering.  That way, when I get to the restaurant, I can spend my time engaged with friends and not with the menu.  Also, I will make a healthier choice when I am not starving and when I am sober. Next, If I am going to more of a party than a dinner I will eat before I go out.  Otherwise I will not hold my liquor well and probably eat when I get home too late at night.  I'll choose something healthy but also filling like chicken and vegetables or perhaps a salad in the summer. Also I'll make sure to drink water from the moment I leave the party (I always have a full water bottle in the waiting) and even go to sleep with a large glass of water on my night stand.  Occasionally I will take some B vitamins before digging into my bedtime routine which I do every night without fail. What's your going out routine?  Talk with friends, maybe they will have other ideas to share that will resonate with you.  And don't forget to tell them you heard it from The Guud Company.
