My Heart’s Burning – Morning Prayer for Easter Week

It’s Wednesday in Easter Week in the Church Calendar. April 12, 2023. This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. I wrote a new song for us today called, “My Heart’s Burning” that comes out of our Gospel reading. We’ll read Psalm 105:1-8 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is Luke 24:13-35 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day.
