My HONEST Reaction to the Big 12's Weekend...

The latest slate of games provided significant clarity across the conference, highlighted by commanding performances from BYU, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State. In Provo, No. 11 BYU erased an early deficit to secure a 28-17 victory over Arizona. The Cougars relied on a disciplined second-half ground game and a defensive adjustment that completely shut out the Wildcats after intermission, reinforcing the program's defensive resilience. Meanwhile, Stillwater delivered the conference's signature win of the week. Oklahoma State capitalized on a heavy underdog status to stun No. 6 Oregon 39-31. Quarterback Drew Mestemaker spearheaded the offense with a stellar dual-threat performance, outgaining the Ducks and guiding the Cowboys to a breakthrough victory that shifts the early-season national conversation. In addition, Kansas State delivered a thorough 34-7 dismantling of Washington State. Avery Johnson orchestrated an efficient passing attack, while a suffocating defensive front kept the opposing offense entirely grounded throughout the afternoon. Collectively, these outcomes underscore the competitive depth and weekly volatility within the Big 12, signaling to the selection committee that the conference features multiple battle-tested contenders capable of disrupting the national landscape.
