I humble my heart, And join my prayer, With those who pray in this hour, Everywhere. I give thanks for Thy graces, And Thy efforts in my life. I rejoice, in and through, Joy and strife. When my Creator, Asks to look upon my eyes, I will not be unready, Or rudely surprised. I will greet my Lord, As a long awaited guest – Striving to give Him, My brightest and best. For my soul is a little golden ship, Upon the vast and unending sea. I shall go forever Eastward, Align my sails to Thee. A life of eternal sunrise, An ever-blossoming horizon, The light that delights the eyes, More vivid, And more awesome.
