Welcome to My House My Foundation with your host, Dr. Maryam Mirad. Dr. Mirad will discuss the many issues that cause us to submit to a life that's less fulfilling and less healthy.
Maryam will investigate this national dilemma of poor health and lack of time for physical activity and offer simple yet concrete solutions to this growing problem. So now please welcome the host of My House My Foundation, Dr. Maryam Mirad. Welcome friends.
Welcome to Dr. Mary Mirad's show with a passion called My House My Foundation where we learn why America is physically fit, but why average Americans are actually not the picture of fitness and health that we would like to be on a BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio. So this show today, we will feature our guest Anthony. Anthony is a very smart 19-year-old and he says he just does not find the time to exercise.
He says, My goodness, cashier so young and looks so handsome right now and I wish you keep your looks and your good health. And he says, well, you know, I kind of gained weight because Anthony is a student. And he's taken the summer semester at his community college and his English. And these summer semesters are very, very long.
They're like three hours continuous. So you have class every day, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, four times a week. You have class every single day. And of course you got to attend all your classes.
And he says it gets a little bit, but not enough. Well, you have to take it. So he really does not have time for any physical activity. He used to love hiking and biking and he's outdoor person.
But as of lately, he says ever since he graduated and that's been a year now. So he graduated last year. And so last year and this year he's been taking, he's trying to get his basic courses as possible. That's possible.
So he's on a time crunch and his summer, he would love to go hiking and biking in one of these summer camps, but absolutely he has to stay. And he has to finish his basic courses. So because he wants to take something in the summer, so lighten his academic burden come the fall semester and he's taking English. And the way they teach the semesters is the hours are the same.
So you have the same number of hours that you would have in the fall semester, but they condense it. So you learn it in like a month and a half. So it's very, very time consuming and it's a bit exhausting on the student to sit through the whole topic in such a condensed version of time. And that's what he's so exhausted at the end.
And I was like, well, you know, I mean, I catch you. And he says, I'm so exhausted. And then the homework load, you know, there's so much homework to do. So he just does not find the time to do any type of physical activity to the gym or the, he just sort of drags himself the day around.
And I was like, you're so young and you need some more energy. And just that students, they just don't get to break anymore. The school finishes and they're right on into their academic year. And a lot of stress.
So I was telling him, you need to incorporate some type of physical activity into your life. And you're young. So you keep mind over matter and tell yourself logically reason with yourself that you need physical activity every day. And it's a good habit to instill at a younger age so that you are used to having a daily physical activity, you know, either a walk or jog or swim.
He likes biking, so biking is fun. And he hasn't ridden his bike for a while now. That's not good. It's gathering dust in the garage.
And I can pull it out. And even if you don't get much time, put in some effort and do some biking. It doesn't matter what time it is, but just try to bike. And even around the campus, you know, I noticed sometimes students go biking around campus and it looks like fun.
So I thought if you don't have time in the evening, try to just bike around campus because we do have some tracks, you know, jogging tracks on the parry-free. You can like maybe bike around the car garage. They do have a walk trails and biking trails because they are students that do come that you use bicycles. So the larger universities, they do provide you with biking trails.
So I was suggesting him do that. He likes hiking. So if you like hiking, try climbing the stairs and think of it like a little mountain trip up there. And you have to use a little imagination and creativity to get some physical activity in your day.
And he said, okay, that's sort of brought a smile to his face. So we're discussing here how our young student Anthony, he's into his second semester of college. And in the summer semester, he's taking English and he's taking a summer semester to get his credits done as soon as possible. And the summer semester, the workload is just too heavy for him.
Too many hours, the work is just so condensed. He's got papers. He's got homework. He's got group activities.
They have a single project. Then they have a group project. Then he has to do a pair project. And all those essays, it's a lot to work.
And he says that it's just exhausting trying to do the whole semester into this condensed summer semester system. So he absolutely does not find the time to exercise where he would love to. So he likes the idea of biking around campus, sort of like an open outdoor person. He says, I like the open space.
He has to be very careful when he bikes around campus because there are lots of students walking. And he says that maybe not around campus, but maybe he would put in a bike trip after summer school and it ends in a little while. And he'll have about three weeks before the fall semester starts. And he says, well, maybe I can fit in a little trip there.
But he's got so much to do. He's moving into a new apartment. He's changing his roommate. And when he has to order his books for the fall semester, he hasn't done that yet.
And just getting everything organized. So he's like, I better not plan a vacation just before the fall semester starts. It sounds like a good idea. But sometimes he says he gets so relaxed.
And then it's hard to come back to his semester. And his semester is an academic student. So it's a full credit semester there also. And Anthony, he's like one of the many students you see on campus, even though it's summer.
But for them, it's like normal college that you get to have in the morning. You know, they rush the breakfast or you see some of the students eating breakfast on the way to class. And they're rushing. They're always trying to catch up.
And it's a bit stressful. And then you have to sit there for three hours. And these summer semesters are very, very long to sit in class. That's three hours long.
It's a little bit exhausting. But still, that's how the curriculum is set. So they have to sit through these classes. And he's trying to get some physical activity done in his day.
But he's not really finding that easy to do. And so he likes the idea of using his imagination a little bit. And so we're talking about Anthony. He's a student taking the summer semester on my house, my foundation.
And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Merad on the BBC. Yes. Network and tuning radio.
And we'll be right back after these messages. Stay tuned. The earliest human societies worshipped a female goddess. Little is known about this time because we did not always have a written recorded history.
It was around 3,100 BC when the Sumerians invented the first written language. And everything that preceded this time is prehistory. The prehistorical record includes all of women's unwritten history from 30,000 BC to the time that men began achieving political power around 3,000 BC. Male feminist artist Kimberly Berg maintains a strong position in educating and inspiring both men and women through his devotional art to the goddess in all women.
Studying their history is paramount to understanding who women were and who they would become later living in a patriarchal society. Welcome back to BBM Global Network and Shoonen Radio on my house, my foundation and I'm your host Dr. Mary Moran. And today we're talking about why America is physically fit, why average Americans are not. And we're today looking into the life of one person at a time and our guest here is Anthony.
He's a young college student. And he's taking the summer semester right now and he finds absolutely no time in his busy schedule to go get his daily physical exercise. And he's a biker, he's a hiker, but not one or no college days are on and sort like his, his, Mr. ended and then the summer semester started.
And now when this will end, fall semester will start. So one semester sort of just continues right down to the next one. And he doesn't really quite get a grip on a little bit of free time. And he's more concerned about getting his homework done and his reports and his projects.
So he spends a lot of time putting in those extra details because he wants to have good grades and he's aiming for an academic career ahead. So he really needs to put in a lot of time over here. And now I sort of become the norm, a summer semester. It used to be optional a few years back, but now everyone is taking the summer semester.
And what this does is it eases the load on the fall semester. So you have like one less credit to take and you know, it's a little bit less homework when you're studying so many subjects. The homework and the hours and the demand is just so much. It's so stressful on those boards.
Students and where's the time for any physical activity. The only physical activity I see them is walking to class with these heavy bags and heavy knaps, acts on their shoulders. So I was telling Anthony that the Jews would like to bike. So maybe hiking would not be the right choice for you right now, but try biking.
And he likes to open space and he likes to freedom. He likes to feel the wind and just the freedom to ride his bike. And I told him, well, you know, the morning fresh air is nice. If you like the bike and he likes the less people, he doesn't like crowded places.
And so he doesn't like to bike around college. He likes to bike in open space where there's less people. And then he is more in connection with nature and there's no restrictions to where he has to bike. So he likes that openness.
So he's going to try to put in early morning because at the end of the day he gets so exhausted and the homework and just everything drags him down his projects. And then he's stressed about how he's doing, how well he's doing. He's very stressed out. And he has to sit and he says that not only he's mentally exhausted, but he's basically exhausted sitting in class for three hours.
The summer semesters are very, very long and three hours ready to be able to sit through. Yeah, long time. So he's going to try to get up early in the morning and try to do some biking. And he's got his bike and boy is a nice shiny bike.
He's into biking and racing him. So he spends a lot of time on his bike. So this bike is well used. And it brings him relaxation.
He loves to bike and he loves to feel open air and the coolness. So he's going to start this early morning and get up in the morning while the sun hasn't come out or is on the way out before the full sun rises. And they're not many people up at that time, especially students. So he's going to try to bike.
And I said, if you cannot find an open space to go around, try just going back and forth. So he liked that idea. I said, well, if you want to bike and at that time in the morning, the road doesn't have many cars here early in the morning. So you can actually bike straight down and then a long road and then you can come back and see you can do a couple of laps on your bike instead of just biking from point A to point B like five miles.
So you have this loop around where he lives and around campus. And instead of making a loop, what you do is you do laps. So you have these straight laps and you bike back and forth. So it's the same place, but it's less people there and it's nice trees, a nice breezy place.
So he gets the fresh air. He loves the fresh air. So he likes that idea. So he's going to set his alarm up early in the morning and that brings a small displace on us.
Don't do it one day. You're going to do it every day. Heart beats every day. So you need some physical activity every day, not just three times a week.
Do it every day. So when you aim for every day and if you miss a day in between, okay, but if you aim for three days and you miss a day, well, that's really not enough. You follow below the average here. So he's going to bike and then life is like that.
So even in his later years, how job, whichever job he gets into or travel or whatever. I said, don't give up your passion. Passion isn't biking. So get up early in the morning.
And if you can't find a long place where you can drive from point A to point B, you know, drive your bike, drive your bike and just find a long stretch and do back and forth. So just do back and forth. Right here to that point, come back again and right again. So he's going to do these small laps, straight laps, which is less people there and freshness of the morning here and clear trees and clear road.
And that's what he likes. He likes open space. He likes to be one with nature and that brings in happiness and joy and that brings in peace of mind. And Anne was telling me that when he bikes, he sort of relaxes and he can think better and his mind is more clear.
And I said, of course, that's the benefits of exercise. It clears your mind. It distresses you and it makes you able to work better. And as a student, your memory improves, your cognitive skills, everything improves and you clear your mind and what you study, you retain better and you work better.
So he's going to add in this early morning biking into his routine and just that spell between campus and his apartment. There's walkway there and it's beside the road. So there's another small road. That's what he's going to use and just go back and forth on his nice road.
It's a small walkway that people use, but in the morning, there's nobody there. So he's going to ride his bike there and he likes that. And that's a physical activity that he's going to incorporate into summer semester. So he can think better.
And he says that when he rode his bike, he sort of felt relaxed and he likes that feeling. So he's going to continue getting onto his bike early morning so he can get his exercise done in the morning hours because those people that exercise in the morning, they stay more regular. Okay, so now it's time for a short break on my house, my foundation on the BPM Global Network and Tune in Radio. And I'm your host, Dr.

Welcome friends. Welcome back to my house, my foundation on the BPM Global Network and Tune in Radio. I'm your host, Dr. Marya Morad.
Today we're discussing Anthony. He's our guest today and we're seeing how we can incorporate exercise some physical activity into the life of the student who's into a second semester of college. He's taking the summer semester and he has absolutely no time for exercise. He studies all day.
He just one thing you can think about is exercise. That's the last thing on his mind. He loved exercise. He's going to try my suggestion of early morning biking that he likes.
He's going to try to save his energy and think positive and get on his bike. He says once he gets riding on his bike, he rides his bike in the fresh year, especially in the morning. It makes him forget all of his worries and all of his thoughts. He brings him back to life.
He just likes it so much that he doesn't want to stop. Keep your watch with you and your alarm clock. You take your alarm clock with you. You set your timer there for half an hour, so we'll ring and you know half an hour of biking is enough for today and have to prepare for class.
He's a very serious student and he spends all of his time in the library. He doesn't come back to his apartment. He says he falls asleep and he relaxes too much. He goes to the refrigerator and eats something.
He prefers to stay in the library because he studies. He's more academic space and he does his homework there and he reviews his previous lectures and he studies more. He prefers to stay in the library all the hours that it is open. He studies there.
He says he studies. He not only reviews the previous lectures, but he also looks over the next day's topic that the teacher is supposed to talk about. He spends a lot of time sitting in the library and he's very focused on his academic sum. He says that he has to come to the library because he falls asleep.
If he goes to his apartment and he relaxes and he takes a little nap. It's too long. A 15 minute nap goes easily two or three hours. He watches something on television to relax himself.
It's hard to stop because one after the other, if he watches television or if he goes on a movie he can't stop. He has to watch the whole movie and I said, yeah, he's already stopped and milled at the movie. If he goes to the refrigerator, he thinks about making himself a fresh food or cooking himself something or just having some ice cream. It takes time for his academics and he has to do really well because his dad is helping him so he can focus on his academics.
He does not need to take a summer job. He spends all of his time studying. He has a perfect grade point and a perfect grade point comes with no gym at the gym time. He just does not have time to go to the gym because he sits in the library the whole time.
If he tells his dad, he was telling me, if I tell my dad I went to the gym, he thinks, why aren't you studying? Why are you at the gym? You should be studying. That's another reason why he doesn't get to the gym because if he tells his dad I was at the gym.
He thinks that, well, you need to put in another hour for your education instead of just working out of the gym because his father feels he's okay. Physically, she is a young person, young man. He doesn't really need that physical fitness. He needs to get his education and he wants him every hour of the day studying.
He's in the library studying and he definitely gets his homework done. He does it before time and he reviews what they had studied that day and the previous day he revises that. Not only that, he also looks into what the teacher is going to teach the next day. He's better prepared what the teacher is going to talk about.
He's a great student. I wish we had more students like Anthony. He's in the library. He tells me that I was telling my father that whenever you want to come in and just come to the library and you'll find me there.
That's what he was joking. He was telling his friends that, yeah, I can actually reprise the library. I'm there so well. If she wants to take a break, I can't even replace her.
He was joking with his friends because his friends are like, you need to come out of the library sometime. He was like, really serious about my academics and I need to have him in this English. He's very serious and I asked him, I'll power to you in good luck. The thing is you need to study and he spent a lot of time studying.
That's excellent. You also need to put in some physical activity because if the blood doesn't flow, you need to get some oxygen to the brain. You need just a little bit of exercise every day. If he likes to bike, if you like to bike, get that in.
He's a biker. He's now started from this week, actually. He started riding his bike. He liked that.
Early morning he was telling me he's got his alarm clock. First he uses his alarm clock to wake himself up in the morning and puts another timer and he puts it on his bicycle. When he's biking, he says he just can't stop. He's riding his bike.
He just loves it so much. Half an hour is really not enough. He's a biker. He's biking two or three hours in the summer breaks.
Now summer is all different because he's not in high school anymore. He's a college student. He's always in the library studying and he tells him his father. He tells him he has to do that day's homework.
He has to do the previous days. He's a student there. He spends a lot of time studying. At the same time, he's met me now.
He's a student there. He's an engineer. He's a student there. He's been studying.
At the same time, he's met me now and he likes the idea of incorporating political physical activity in his day. You're listening to my house, my foundation on the PPM Global Network and Tune in Radio. I'm your host, Dr. Maryam Marad.

Mary Marad. Today we're looking into why America is very physically fit, but why is that that the average American does not display physical fitness? In this program, we will look into the lives of each person individually. We have one guest on our show and we ask them what is your physical activity, how many times do you get to the gym or do you walk or you swim or what do you do during your day.
We will see if they have more activity or if they're under active, less active, leading a sedentary lifestyle. I tell you, we have talked to so many people and we have helped them incorporate some level of physical activity into their lives. It's not difficult. You don't have to go to the gym.
We say your internal gym, your body is with you. The best thing is to use whatever you have, what do you like to do. Today we're discussing our guest over here, he's Anthony and he's a very young student. He's doing his second year of college.
Right now he's taking the summer semester. He's studying a lot and all of his extra hours that he has, he goes to the library to do his homework because the summer semester is really, really long. You have to do this one topic and you have to spend so many hours on it. The homework is just over well-megan.
He's very focused on all the work he's done every day. He's dedicated to his homework and assignments and whatever work has to be done. He's all of his time in the library. I was telling him you're a biker.
I asked him what do you like to do? He says I'm a biker. I left a bike. I don't get the time now because what he enjoys is two or three hours of biking.
You know, I mean, you hit the road and you're biking and biking and oh, yeah, definitely fun. He does not get those two or three hours that he used to in his high school days when he was in high school. In the summer he used to go biking with his friends in the group, you know, they biked for hours. That was fun, but now he doesn't get that so much of a time.
So he's got his bike with him. He brought his bike over and down. So I said, if your bike is with you, why don't you use it? And he sort of wants to do his work first, you know, so his idea was, so I'll do my class work at homework.
And after when I finished, that's what his dad said. Then you look at your exercise and whatever fun you need. But do the homework first and go to class and get all those academics in first. And so that's what he's been doing.
But what happens at the end of the day is he's so tired. You know, he doesn't have the energy to pull his bike out and take it outside and go down and take a bike. And come evening, everybody else is also outside. And he likes the empty spaces in open spaces, less people there, less crowded spaces.
So he can drive his bike at high speed. He likes the speed thrills. And he rises really fast. And he's a sporty, energetic, young man.
And he likes a clear space. So I told him, well, the earlier the better. You get early in the morning just when the sun is coming up. And right now, so it's even earlier.
And that's the time less people are outside. So you enjoy it more. And you know, you like it. So you will keep doing it.
And he's been doing it every day now for a few days. And he likes it. And he was thanking me for reconnecting him to his bike. And I was like, you know, keep that connection always.
No matter how busy you are, you just ride your bike. So he has to ride his bike long distance for two hours. And I was explaining to him that you don't have to go long distance. You just have a short distance.
And you can ride your bike from one traffic light to the other or two, three traffic lights. And this is what he does. So he's a span of three traffic lights, three blocks. He rides it one way.
And then he rides it back. And then he rides it. So he's doing these laps straight laps. So the distance is short.
But he's built to ride his bike for half an hour. And yes, that done in the morning. And that sort of freshes him. And he gets his blood flow, his exercise.
Fresh air, it clears his mind. And he's relaxed at the end, started the day rather than, you know, putting his exercise toward the end of the day that sort of never happened. And he was so stressed and exhausted and he did out. And he just couldn't get himself together to go out and bike.
And then he gets so hot in the afternoon, especially in the summer months in the South here. The number of people outside, you know, everybody's outside in the afternoon. He's having fun. This campus life.
So no one's inside everybody's outside. They enjoy the outside. So he is too crowded. And he just didn't feel like biking.
So here's a happy person who has incorporated a little bit of physical activity into his life that breaks the happiness. And he enjoys riding his bike. So you just have to fine tune your day a little bit and try to put in a little physical activity that you like. Because a lot of students, you know, they live on campus or in the dorms or nearby in apartments as Anthony as he has a very nice apartment, which is sharing with his friends.
And their food is pizza and burgers. And he's not really a shepherd cook. He just buys his food. Maybe some way on a healthy trip or hamburger, French ride, drink here.
And he really buys all of his food. So he says that if he doesn't do his biking, he sort of has started to add a little bit to wait on. So he's added on a little 12 pounds that weren't there last summer. So he's gained like 12 pounds this last summer.
And he was like, this is not good. And I was telling him, don't get too upset. You don't relax. Life continues.
The main thing is that you have realized that you gain weight if you don't exercise. And you have to learn your body, how your body works. You have to connect with your body. And within one year, you've gained 12 pounds.
You know, that's a lot. So stop right there. And you don't let another year pass by. So you add another 12 pounds and 12 plus 12 and 12.
And three four years down the line, it gets harder. The more weight you gain, it gets harder to lose. So you don't biking and stick with your bike. You know, biking is lots and lots of fun.
And even taking care of your bike. Unless it polishes bike, you know, nice boy. And it's a simple hobby and it's a simple activity. And I encourage him to continue in all those people listening that love to bike.
People think that biking is for the younger days and for the younger people. No, it's absolutely not true. You just have to keep your spirit alive and think young and think fresh. And when you continue with your activity, you don't become sedentary.
You don't gain the weight because you continue with your physical activity. And biking is a perfect exercise to exercise your feet. You know, your foot, your knee, your legs. So you're exercising not only the feet, but the whole lower leg.
And you know, you're blood flow and I was telling him, you need that blood flow going back to the brain from the feet. You need that good circulation because he just can't sit in class and go sit in the library. This inactive lifestyle. It's just so you sleep.
You need to have good circulation. You have to get that exercise going in. And he can't just eat and sit and do your work. And some physical activity in the day is so, so essential that most people don't realize that necessary.
The need for physical activity and the benefits are just so phenomenal that you don't associate exercise with anything but weight loss or sweat and hour. And the truth being that we don't need the gym. We don't need an hour to exercise any place, any time or with absolutely nothing but ourselves. So you're the best gym that you have.
And you listening to My House, My Foundation on the BPM Global Network in Tune in Radio. And I'm your host, Dr. Miriam Moran. And we'll be right back after this short break.

Welcome friends. Welcome to My House, My Foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune-in Radio. I'm your host, Dr. Mary Merad.
We're discussing how everyday Americans can incorporate some level of physical activity into their daily lives. So we don't lead a less active, incidental lifestyle that most of us are accustomed to. And America is very fit. Everywhere you look, you see fitness, everywhere you turn, their photographs, their media, everything is physically fit.
But the average American is not physically fit. And the truth being, we don't get to the gym. I mean, the average person does not even think about going to the gym. Isn't that something?
So this is the aim of my program here, is to look into the life of one person at a time. I may not be able to change the world, but I can definitely change the world for that one person. Today we're talking to our guest, Anthony here. And Anthony is a student.
He's a young man. And he's into a second year of college. And he's taking summer school. You know, summer school is very taxing for students because they do not have the ability to go to summer camp because they have to take the summer semester.
And these summer semesters are very condensed. So they have to spend a lot of hours in class and they have to spend a lot of hours doing extra homework because the whole semester is condensed into the summer. And they have summer one and then they have summer two. So it makes these semesters even more condensed.
And Anthony over here, he is his father. He does not want him to get an extra job. He wants him to focus on his academics, spend all of his time in the library and just study. He wants him to have straight A's, you know, perfect grade point, a good student.
And that feels that the more time he invests into his study, the better his grades will be. Anthony is an excellent student, a good son. And he listens to his father and believe me, straight A student, he spends all of his hours outside of class at the library. He does his homework, so his homework is done every day on time, all assignments he does by himself.
And he not only does today's homework, but he also views the yesterday's homework. And plus he studies in advance of what the teacher is going to be talking about. He loves reading. So any textbook, he was telling me that he has already read all of his textbooks the first day.
He gets it. He reads his textbooks because he loves to read. And reading on his own is different from attending class because reading on his own is he's motivated and attending class is like he's forced to take. So there's a difference there.
But he's a smile on his face. But I'll say he goes to class every day. He's a good student. He's a regular student.
He goes to class every day and he goes to his homework in the library every day. And now he's actually instilled a physical activity. What he used to love to do is biking. And he has a bikers friend.
He's in this bikers group and they love to bike the ride where bicycles and the summer they used to do these biking and hiking trips, which he really misses. And he says he goes to a depression when he hears about the summer camps and people are having so much fun. And here he's studying and he's working. And I said, well, that's growing up now before you were in high school and you were into the summer camps.
And now you're in college. You're halfway between your high school, your academics and your career. So now you've transitioned out of high school, into college. So the education is much more serious.
They teach you a little bit more in depth. Your teachers are now professors. And they demand a little bit more work for you. They're more complex.
They're more in depth. So you have to spend more time understanding. And the homework is also a little bit time consuming. So your projects are a little bit more detailed in college.
It's the next step after high school. Now, not that much of a free time. And he has just restarted biking since his past week. And he's so passionate.
He loves the fresh air. He loves his bike. He loves to ride the bike really fast. And he likes that.
He feels he has more exercise when he's riding his bike full speed as fast as he can. And so to do that, you have to have a clear space. And you cannot have a lot of people there. So instead of a long distance, and his father doesn't feel that he needs to take these bike camps and these bike trips.
That tells you you do your homework first. And then you think about fun. And so he feels a little bit more relaxed. Those people that do their exercise in the morning, they are 75% more regular in continuing their exercises.
And those people that do exercise at lunchtime, according to the study, 50% of these lunchtime exercises, they are regular. And those people that exercise in the evening, when you come home at the end of the day and all the days load is on you. And then you try to exercise. So the evening exercises are 25% regular.
So if you want to be very regular in your exercise, the best time and the best chances in the morning. So like, Anthony, he rides his bike and he rides the distance of three traffic lights. So he goes down three traffic lights, three blocks. And then he turns around and rides back.
And then he turns around and goes three blocks and turns around and comes back three blocks. And it sounds like a lot, but actually when you're riding your bike, it feels pretty fast. And he does these three blocks very fast. So he's like, he was telling me, I'm like zipping through.
And I said, that's fine. You know, that's fine. Just stay safe and drive with control. So even though you like to ride your bike real fast, but still keep it in control and always be aware of your surroundings.
And so stay in control and ride your bike every day. So the important thing is riding your bike. Getting some physical activity every day is not the intensity of one day. But you be insistent every day.
And that's the best form of exercise is what you can do every day. Because the heart beats and the blood flows and internal organs function. The body functions nonstop. So the best thing is what you can do every day.
Small steps, they matter. And so Anthony has learned an important lesson that if he rides his bike in the morning, you know, he somehow gets his alarm clock and he gets up in the morning and then he has to set another alarm clock half an hour. So that is his biking time. And he takes his alarm clock with it and puts it on his belt.
And what that means, that means biking time, you know, exercise is fun time is over with. So it's back to class and you have to get ready and get rest. And then you have to start your day. So he has just discovered that riding is biking the morning is so rewarding and that acts as him.
And this is what we're discussing today. The advantages of daily exercise incorporated into your daily life on my house, my foundations on the BBM Global Network and Tune in radio. And I'm your doctor, Mary and Merad. And we'll be right back after this short break.
So stay tuned. Hello, I'm Steve Fagan and I'm president and CEO of Fagan Associates. But I'm also a life coach. I'm here to help you reach your dreams, goals and objectives.

Welcome friends. Welcome to My House, My Foundation on the PPM Global Network and Tune Radio. I'm your host, Dr. Mary Marad, and my mission and my purpose here is to instill some daily activity in your daily life.
And why is it that America is a very health conscious, that the average American does not look physically fit? And there's such a need to instill on a daily basis. You have to talk to each person individually because no two people live the same lifestyle. And they say, I just don't have the time to exercise.
And I tell them, you don't need to go to the gym. You don't need any equipment. Use your internal gym. You've got the gym inside of you.
The best thing is to use what you have right where you are. And I teach the minimum required, you know, the minimum needed in what you like to do. And our guest today was Anthony. And he's a college student.
Lots of students are taking summer semesters and they do not get the time to exercise. So I was telling him, Anthony loves to bike. And I was encouraging him and successfully he has incorporated half an hour biking into his routine. And that's early morning.
And that's the best time to exercise this early morning because early morning exercises are very regular. So here is to show you that exercise is not difficult. And you don't have to go to extra cost. You don't have to go anywhere.
You exercise where you are in your busy schedule. And that's the best exercise that you will keep. And you will be regular at it. And exercise doesn't have to be difficult.
It has to be regular. It has to be simplified. And the best exercise you do every day. So today, Anthony, we're very happy that we were able to talk to Anthony to be a guest on our show.
