Maryam will investigate this national dilemma of poor health and lack of time for physical activity and offer simple yet concrete solutions to this growing problem. So now please welcome the host of My House My Foundation, Dr. Maryam Mirad. Welcome friends.

Welcome to My House My Foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio. I'm your very dedicated and passionate host Dr. Maryam Mirad and it is my lifetime mission to make a difference to families. I have made this program for my mother's.

I'm very dedicated to have parents and grandparents live with the families, live a healthy long life and this program is for you. And in each program we look at the lives of an individual American. Why is it that America is so health conscious but the average person does not find the time to exercise so much so that the new statistics show that only 2.7% of the population exercises they have some physical activity. This is absolutely shocking.

Only 2.7% of Americans exercise every day and the time they give, the reason they have no exercise, no time to exercise. I mean that is just so shocking that we spend so much money on our food, healthy living on supplements. There's so much money that we spend on our fitness or health but we do not find the time to exercise. We all have gym memberships, we all buy these DVDs, we all have health books, we invest so much into being healthy but the fact that we don't put in any physical activity, we don't move.

It's not possible to just sit all the time and expect good health to fall into your lap and we just do not have the time to get to the gym. And this is my mission, this is my aim of this program to look into the life of individual people and see what is their particular situation, what is their reason that they cannot get to the gym. And so I explained to them to use the internal gym, minimum basic possible movements that they can do, make it easy, make it simple and tell them how they can incorporate some easy fitness into their daily life which doesn't take so much of their time. It's simple, it's natural and it doesn't cost much to move naturally either.

So in our today's program we will be looking into the daily life of Isabel. Now Isabel is a charming 35 year old mother of two. She's a stay-at-to-mom and she cooks everything healthy, she's into organic food, she's into producing, she makes the healthiest meals for her family. But her husband, he's 42, he sort of doesn't like the healthy cooking.

He's more of a donut person, he loves sugary sweets and desserts and when she cooks healthy on the weekends he will actually make a trip to the grocery store and buy all this junk food, all the sweets, everything that he craves. And even though she has cooked healthy food but he will go and buy the cakes and the cookies and the chocolates and the candies and sweets. He has such a craving for these sweet foods. He'll buy these apple pies, you know, all the roads and section desserts, all the bakery items and bring them home and he eats them like there's a cot is the first one to finish it and that's his breakfast is like a whole pie and he can eat a whole cake and you know, he's too sweet, he'll eat the pizza instead of her healthy cooking.

So she's not entirely happy and she's quite worried about his health because he's been doing this for a number of years and he sort of doesn't like her healthy cooking even though she cooks very well and her friends like it and when they have company they enjoy her Isabel's healthy cooking but somehow her husband doesn't take to this healthy lifestyle and now the children who are in middle school they sort of tend to follow the father in eating habits and also the exercise habits. So in this family Isabel she's healthy, she goes out for a walk every morning when the husband goes to work and when the kids go to school she goes for a walk every morning, she's walking and she's healthy, she's got her ideal weight, she exercises every day, she eats healthy food, she buys organic food, she's mostly into vegetables so she's a vegetarian but she will eat some fish and that's her only non-veg food. So some fish occasionally twice a week but mostly she's on vegetables and she enjoys juicing and she actually makes it for her family but some of her family just puts their glasses in the fridge and just sort of you know, nibbles at the food a little bit and that sort of extent of what the family will eat and dad on the weekend he sort of fills most of the fridge with all this so-called the food that tastes good and he likes it and so it's not really happy situation and she's concerned about her husband because he's put a lot of weight on and he's 42 so he's in the middle years of life, he's passed to middle age and he's sort of putting weight on rather fast and his shirts don't fit in so she has just recently bought him a whole new wardrobe so they went they've been doing a lot of shopping to get him into close that fit because he's outgrown his office attire and boy that's not really healthy sign you know, I'm wonderful to go shopping and spend some time with the family and go out together and put new clothes out but not when you're the reason for buying new clothes is the old ones don't fit and you're looking for clothes which are a wider it's a bigger size and your girth has increased and you know more bulkier and you need to get shirts that fit and suits that fit and pants and everything he's sort of buying clothes which are a little bit excel in a little bit bigger size and and she talks to him constantly and he sort of puts the conversation down and at the sort of nutter very good atmosphere in the family because the children sort of take the father's side and Isabelle is left on her own even though she is correct and saying that you need to eat healthy and you need to exercise you know she loves walking and and she says you know why don't you come out and walk with me in the morning or in the evening I will go out for a walk together and and and this couple was was like they have been a boyfriend and girlfriend since high school and you know they're like soul mates and sweethearts and and so this recent health and weight gain and and recently it's it's taken a sort of ugly picture ugly side to it and she is really really worried about her husband because she loves him dearly and and the kids are following him so so she is very concerned that he is not he's not well the main concern isn't that he's not eating what she cooks the main concern is that now he's putting on weight quite fast and and he has an office job so he sits most of the day and and he loves to eat and and what he eats is fast food and you know gourmet food and mostly junk food just anything he sort of has an outgrown his some childhood teenager lifestyle that he needs to outgrow it's okay when you're a teenager and a young adult and and you have a burger and pizza on the weekends maybe twice right so we can don't really matter because you're young and and your body can handle it then in your 20s but when you're 42 and sort of I'm pinching up to middle age you know 50 and and your weight is increasing very very fast and you need to you need to reassess and and every time she tries to talk to him it's some don't really go very far and it doesn't really work out very well either so she's very very concerned all right so you're listening to my house my foundation and we need to take a quick break over here so we'll be right back on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio I'm your host Dr. Mary Maran Sautistuent.

The earliest human society's worshiped a female goddess little is known about this time because we did not always have a written recorded history it was around 3100 BC when the Sumerians invented the first written language and everything that preceded this time is pre-history the pre-historical record includes all of women's unwritten history from 30,000 BC to the time that men began achieving political power around 3000 BC male feminist artist Kimberly Berg maintains a strong position in educating and inspiring both men and women through his devotional art to the goddess and all women studying their history is paramount to understanding who women were and who they would become later living in a patriarchal society to learn more about this important time in our history go to www.isisrising.net. Welcome back and welcome back to my house my foundation on the VPN Global Network and TuneIn Radio and I'm your host Dr. Maryam Aran and today in our show we're looking into the life of this one middle-aged couple.

Why is that the wife is very health conscious? She goes for a daily walks daily physical fitness daily exercise and has been his exercise and good health is just not on his list. He loves to be healthy he talks about it but what does he do? He eats whatever he likes to eat and his eating habits need to be altered but every time his wife talks about it there's a friction between them and I was explaining to her that now sitting is considered to be the new smoking in the previous generation.

It was smoking you know they were smoking was what was everybody was trying to stop and it was you supposed to stop smoking and don't smoke and a lot of emphasis was put on prevention and school programs and high school programs and teaching the children the bad points and the sickness and illness and the side effects of smoking and so now it's gotten to a point where people have actually given up smoking yes there's a great percentage of people that have given up smoking and the younger generation they're brought up they're raised on a healthy lifestyle and when they're young they're they're taught that no no cigarettes you know smoking is bad for you so the younger generation now they have grown up on the fact that smoking is bad for you and a lot of them they do not smoke so smoking has sort of fallen you know the percentage of people that smoke has decreased substantially and a healthy lifestyle is now in and everybody you see them with a water bottle it's they carry a water bottle around and you don't really have to be physically pit but most people they have water bottle and and so water has sort of replaced and it's like a substitute you got chewing them so smoking has gone down considerably and now they're linking sitting you know you're not exercising you're not moving so you're sitting all the time and they're linking sitting to smoking so the phrase has been developed sitting is the new smoking and the aim is to connect with an established condition smoking you know it's an established bad habit and you ask any child any school going child in elementary middle school high school you know any child and they have already been taught that smoking is bad for you and the damage it does to your body on the long range and the short range so they're grown they're taught with this knowledge that smoking is bad for you and that is why the preventive measures that they have instilled in this country they have proven to be effective and and smoking is no longer considered to be something cool or or something trendy and the next generation you know that they're growing up the young adults so smoking is not as popular as it used to be in the previous generation and and even the the little bit older middle age and mature age people are are giving up smoking even though it's a very difficult habit to give up because it's it's in you you know it's like becomes your habits become your genes and and to give up a part of your daily lifestyle that you're used to is very difficult that a lot of people have given up smoking at an older age so now they're linking to sitting being the new smoking and the aim is that that people associate sitting that's inactivity you know prolonged hours of inactivity with smoking and now these exercise has come out so in in offices also they're they're hiring they're hiring personal trainers which come in and they actually do exercise routine like 15 minutes in the morning 15 minutes in the afternoon but those are generally for the younger people so the mature and senior executives they sort of you know we're working and we're meeting it and and so all the younger age group you know the middle age the young adults and the middle age adults are seen following these exercise programs so you you dress up you go to the office and then you do some little exercise you know it's good for you and more and more companies they're employing this routine that you need to have a short exercise break a short physical fitness in between the days so before lunch you have a short 15 minute workout and then after lunch there's a short 15 minute workout and it breaks up the monotony of sitting but here in this case our case study today is a well's husband unfortunately his company does not have this and he works for a small private firm and and so they just rely on the gym you know they their company does not employ this and and most larger middle and large size companies they have this but his doesn't and and she was suggesting to his office personnel them the office staff that they need to employ something exercise program some physical routine you know something so so the employees they have to actually get up off their chairs and actually move I was suggesting to her that since she walks and you know they can suggest walking and it's a small office building because it's a private office and they they do have elevators and do have stairs so you know they can use the exercise so that was a possibility they're also so she is she is looking into talking very seriously to her office her boss or husband's boss that he needs to instill a physical activity for the employees they need to not sit in the chair all day and then they need to be able to require you know so he her husband will only do it if it's required if the boss doesn't require it then he's not doing it so she she has she has a plan you know so to to go talk to them and I've encouraged her you know you go talk to talk to your boss your husband's boss about incorporating physical activity during the day and we'll talk a little bit further after this break on this so you're listening to my house my foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio and I'm your host Dr. Maryam Murad and we'll be right back after this short break. host dr mariam maran and today we're looking into this one family this middle-aged couple where the wife is very active she's health conscious she focuses on eating organics and she's a vegetarian she eats fish she's introducing she's into exercise she's into caring for the family and where's the husband he he absolutely does not like what the wife cooks he does not like her healthy cooking he does not like her juicing and he he's not into exercising um so we're i'm trying to get them to to talk about what they can do together and um since Isabel walks you know that's her she she they live in a very nice neighborhood and then there's a very nice park and also lush green and beautiful to look at very pleasant uh to walk around and so she she enjoys that and i said well you you get your husband to join you and he asked him what does he prefer a morning walk or would he like an evening walk and so um now there's a debate going on of morning walk or evening walk and and whereas Isabelle presents the positive aspects of a morning walk the air is fresh you know you walk in the morning and then you've done your walk for the day and you know they could go out together but her husband he looks on on on the side that he doesn't have time in the morning and he has to get dressed and and and she says well you take so much time but just listening to the news and and you take so much time shaving and in the shower if you can cut out a few minutes you know leave out the news in the morning you can listen to the evening news in the evening and in the morning and let's go out for a walk and and you can shorten your showers you know a little put some speed on it and he's like oh my gosh i'm so exhausted and and he's ever since he started putting on a little bit little bit a little bit more weight on um she she says he's more tired and and he he's become a mouth reader you know he can't close his his mouth and breathe from the nose and most people that that gain weight they actually i don't realize it but they just breathe from the mouth and they're um that's not healthy we'll talk about that in another show but um so he's always tired and he he he just is not interested in um going out for a walk it and when she says uh how about a walk in the evening you know you uh didn't you work for the day and and you don't have to go to the office in the evening so you've already finished your office work in this squad in the evening and he's like oh no i'm so tired and oh yeah i just rather sit and listen to the news or watch television and and like okay make me a cup of tea or or or let me eat a piece of cake and you know i'll have a donut with my coffee and then we'll walk and she's waiting and oh then something else he's rather uh sent a text or or just a catch up on message on his social media or some excuse or another so so the time goes by you know every day it's um in the morning um let's do it in the evening and in the evening it's like you know i'm so tired maybe tomorrow morning and so they haven't really gone out for a walk i mean he hasn't really put in any physical activity there's no walking but there's a lot of talking and i was telling that you need to um like nagging is uh so when when we are so concerned for another person we sort of are genuinely concerned but uh for them it seems like we're going to talk about anything else and and we're nagging them uh it's not nagging it's for them of love but you know they perceive it a little bit on the negative side so you have to give them some space you know you have to let the other person have their own space and give them time and you allow them to come up with a realization what is good for them and he's still young he her husband's only 42 he's still young he still has some life but but she's a very very concerned because they've been they've been um together all their life and you know they were high school sweethearts and and she has cared for him for the last 20 years so it's sort of hard for her to see him his health go a little bit down and for him to be putting this weight on which he knows is not good for him and sooner or later the doctors results you know the checkups will will start to talk and and that's another cause for concern because she's a stay-at-home mom and and he's the only person that that earns for the family and she chose to stay at home for the children you know to be there for the kids and and to them to their activities when they're in for their childhood and school and so the children have a lot of extracurricular activities and mom is the one who takes the kids and the kids are really bright and intelligent and into lots and lots of activities in the community in the church lots of charity work so so mom is the one who's inspirational and she's the one who who puts in all the effort to take the kids and dad is like becoming a couch potato and he just oh he just gets up in the morning ghost work and he sits there they come us back and sits on his chair in front of the television and the only thing is moving is his finger on the remote controller or his fingers on his text message on his telephone keypad but nothing moving and and this discussion of the morning walk or the evening walk there's a lot of discussion but there's really no walking and so she's um she's sort of confused and and she doesn't know what to do because neither does he eat healthy nor does he exercise and and she's really really really scared that sooner or later when he goes for his next annual checkup the the doctor will have some some not so good news to talk to them and and you know that doesn't worry your husband he's like oh no nothing happening I'm perfectly fine and I'm only 42 I'm so yeah you know I mean then nothing will happen to me and his dad was really healthy and his dad is still alive and he's 84 and no health condition and you know he doesn't take any medicine he's like oh no I've got good genes and yeah no problem yeah you don't worry about me I'll be perfectly fine and but yeah you know let's see what happens but that's not a good a good picture to be in when you eat unhealthy when you're overweight you don't have any physical activity you don't go to the gym you're setting a bad example for the kids and the kids are actually following the father rather than the mother so there's lots of tension in this household um because 42 in your 40s is is when a lot of parents were who are not really active start taking up their regular medications so we'll continue our talk after the short break on my house my foundation on the devian global network and tuning radio and I'm your host Dr. Mary Moran and we'll be right back after the short break animal lover author artist and public speaker patricia welcome back to my house my foundation on the bbm global network and tuning radio and i'm your host dr mary mr and my mission is to look into the life of average families average everyday americans why why is america such a health conscious nation i look at our media you look at our magazines you look everywhere you see physical fitness and all the pictures we see are of everybody who's physically fit but why is the average american and not a picture of fitness you cannot take a picture of today's father a middle-aged father and put him on the billboard and say here follow this role model of that person like like our today's a dad out of shape he's a good father and and he provides well for the family but my gosh no exercise no physical activity nothing doing no walking no gym no swimming no biking no hiking he just sits and he enjoys to eat and and the eating that is coupled with with his inactivity is junk food anything that looks good tastes good he doesn't he's not into his wife's healthy cooking organic food reducing he's not into her cooking at all and he actually doesn't need it and neither does he go out for with his wife on her walks you know she's a walker they live in a very nice neighborhood they have a beautiful park they have a very nice community clubhouse and she uses that she walks around the park and she's trying to get her husband to join her on on her walk it and she walks in the morning but for his sake she's willing to alter her walk schedule so they can go out for a short walk every day around their neighborhood and its beautiful neighborhood a very nice neighborhood and so the question is is it a morning walk or is it an evening walker and they haven't sort of found out what is the best time for her husband to get up and walk and and and then the second question comes along what is he going to wear so so they have sort of like not figured out whether it's a morning walk or evening walk we come to the next question what is he going to wear I mean obviously he wears shorts and a t-shirt and puts some sneakers on but it's not as simple as that put technology into the mix and since he's an engineer he's now looking to buy the best shoes he hasn't started to walk yet but so he's hoping to you know he's in the works he's he's doing in the conversation bit haven't decided what wear time or you know it's all in the works now and then the question of shoes comes up and and and he wants the best walking shoes now shoes has gotten a little bit more complicated you got walking shoes you got joggers you got running shoes so he's now studying which shoes he should buy and and and each brand has their own range of shoes and and and it's such a variety of shoes so he's now looking into which shoe he said buy and he's looking into all the good name brand shoes and all the sports shoes out there so he's becoming she's you know he's studying shoes and his wife was my gosh just pick one and put them on and let's go out for a walk and he's he's like let me see which is the best one and which shoe will give me the best results and I need to have a walking shoe because I'm walking and I don't need joggers because I'm not jogging so it's not a jogging shoe it has to be a walking shoe and the sole and the cushioning and the air air pillows air gel soles that they have there they need to be exactly in the correct place and and it has to breathe you know the material there's so much technology and high-tech into shoes so he's looking into all of that and and she's like well you know come out barefoot you know he's like let's just walk and he's like what barefoot and she was like yeah sure lots of seniors they walk on the grass barefoot in the morning you know for good exercise and and barefoot is what grandparents did and he's like oh no absolutely not and his father may have walked barefoot in the grass but he's not willing to put up with that oh no the grass a little bit spiky and it hurts his feet and you know he he wants to invest he must have his shoes in order to walk so barefoot is you know you can joke about that but that's not a possibility even and and and and shoes is like a big issue now with shoes and and you look into the shoe industry so much technology there it's amazing how much research and technology has gone into shoes and and so for the past now two weeks they have gone shoe shopping on the weekends and and he is just studying and studying and he's gaining knowledge and he's looking online he's googling everything so he's he's becoming an expert and it's kind of hard to narrow down on which brand he wants you know with sports brand it will be the best for him there there are a couple of good brands out there and and so he's brand searching and and then his wife is also barking searching and she's like you know we don't have to spend so much money on one pair of shoes and and these barking brands you know they do just the work and actually her shoes are or nothing special they're just working shoes and and they work perfectly as she walks with them every day and she goes around her neighborhood in the park and she has a nice long walk in the mornings and for her shoes is not an issue and and there's no problem any shoe would do and and she's a very economical housewife she's very budget conscious and and so they have a one person earning so her husband is the bread earner and she makes a budget and so she doesn't really think that I'm investing so much money into a good pair of shoes is very essential and all he needs to do is just get up and move and it sort of hasn't happened as yet but so they've made two trips to the mall and shoe stores and he's sort of trying shoes on and and he you know he's trying to take one two steps in them and his wife is like okay which would you like you know make a choice and he's like oh there's so much of a variety that he hasn't really made the choices yet all right you're listening to my house my we can help this family this young middle-aged couple incorporate some daily activity and some daily movement into their life without overspending and without going to great extremes that are hard to follow and just add simple principles a simple natural exercise which they can easily do and now isabel she's 35 and what she does is she's a stay-at-home mom so when the kids leave the school in the morning and her husband goes afterward so she goes for a walk in a very nice neighborhood she goes around and and she walks in and she's physically fit she's a charming lady she's absolutely gorgeous slim smart and very athletic looking uh smiling and since she's a stay-at-home mom and her husband is the only breadern of the family she's very budget conscious and and she doesn't really spend so much time in shopping malls or shopping and and she saves up because you know she she she's a good wife and and she saves up for the family so now her husband is looking into buying these very expensive walking shoes in order for him to have all the comforts of technology and the science behind them so she doesn't feel that there's such a need for him to invest in such expensive shoes but not only is the shoe in question but what is he going to wear now that they have gone out to buy shoes this past two weeks um so they're also looking at into fitness attire now he has to have something to wear and and isabel has no problem you know throw on a t-shirt that's fine every day because he had changed and when you come back you got to got to wash and it goes into the wash so any t-shirt will do for isabel but that's not the case for her husband uh he's looking he's looking into what a lumpy's wear you know what a lumpy at least where it has to be breathing it has to be a lightweight material uh and and he's looking into all this technology and and they go out to bit and and she's like you really do not need a name brand shoes and a name brand t-shirt just to go walking and and they haven't really taken the first step out the door as yet but um and she doesn't feel the need to invest so much into into expensive name brand sports wear uh which it doesn't really make a difference in her mind but dinner has been mine it sort of does make a difference and and he's uh he's he's engineered he he's he works with computers and he he's like um a technology person and he he's like you know I need to have the best equipment so the best shoes the best sport wear so the best uh the best t-shirts and he's looking and he's looking into all the name brand sports wear and and it's hard to tell uh which one to buy because um he tried them on and because of his bulky size uh he there they're sort of a little bit tight on him and he meets those plus size ones and and he doesn't want to buy one of these plus size ones he wants to buy a little bit physically fit one with all this breathing material this new technology uh in in the sports wear uh but that doesn't really look so well on him because um they're a little bit smart fit and smart fit you got to be physically smart in order to wear smart clothes because they're the smart wear is now made for athletes you know so so if you're a dad just trying to uh take up a physical fitness or go to the gym uh well you know that rack is on the other side with the XXL size and something loose and don't really show that if you're really serious about health and fitness and and it's chic smart so not only is the outerwear chic smart but so is the insidewear chic smart and what he likes what appeals to her is the best husband is the smart wear so he looks at it and it's smart but somehow the the slim fit doesn't fit his uh his uh uh growing uh central so he doesn't fit his shape and and so there's a conflict in his mind he'll go and uh when they when they're out together shopping for what he will hopefully wear it and hopefully start to walk in and he picks out all these uh smart clothes and he picks out all the smart shirts and there's all the smart t-shirts and smart sport wear and she tells the community why do you bother with these smart clothes when you know it's not going to fit you and he's like well let me try this on you know let me let me try this on and maybe you'll fit you know it's it's kind of not that tight and i can fit into it and sure enough when he tries about it definitely you know it's quite tight on him and he's like yeah but he can't get over the mental image of him being a young man slim and now he's a middle-aged dad and he's put on on this uh executive belly sort of so he sits and and the picture of now hasn't appeared in his mind as yet so he so he's trying on all these smart shirts which don't really fit him and his wife's having a hard time telling him that let's buy something that fits you and we don't have to spend so much money on it so they haven't really picked up one shirt and and he likes all the bright colors and and you know colors not the issue but he just can't seem to pick one out and and that sort of looks so tight on him and and and they're still shopping you know so fingers are still crossed for this couple here and and they're slowly moving forward looking into fitness shoes and fitness clothes and and he's high tech and she's on a budget and and she's focused on walking and he's focused on technology how let's use the benefits of what is there what research has been and what athletes wear and you know why don't we benefit from from latest technology and and what athletes wear so he's looking at top notch athletes what they wear what sports shoes they wear what clothes they wear and and he needs to have breathables you know he says he he sweats a lot you know he doesn't like to be hot and he's anticipating that when he walks outside it's not going to be in the air conditioned environment so he's going to sweat a lot so the the clothes have to be breathable and so do the shoes the material has to be breathable and and and and so that takes care of ventilation and and the sweat doesn't accumulate you know so and his wife is like um yeah you really don't need this it's really wasting money and and and so yeah they go out together shopping it's not that she you know they they love each other dearly and they do spend you know the weekends are going out shopping and trying to buy his sports attire which they haven't successfully finalized because they always like too different she she likes what is functional and not that costly and he likes high tech and he always picks the ones that are it's not so much the cost it's size he picks those smart fit ones and then when he tries them they don't look good on him they're too tight but he he's still in the mental image of himself when he was young he was handsome young and slim and this um growth in the girth has not set in his mental picture all right we have to take a short break here so you're listening to my house the bbm global network and tuning radio and i'm your host dr mariam ran and my passion lies to add physical activity some natural body motion some natural activity into the daily lives of everyone that i can touch i can reach out to and our couple today this middle-aged couple is about she's 35 is she not only is into health conscious eating but she's also into a daily exercise routine and she's only one out of her family that does it neither her husband nor her two teens in middle school they are health conscious and and and she blames her husband for for the kids not being being health conscious and not exercising and not eating well because he brings all the junk food in um so there there's a bit of a tussle in this family but but the mother is very loving and and she she's a devoted wife and she's not giving up on her on her husband and this is her soulmate this is her lifelong love and they've been together since they were in high school their high school sweethearts so she is determined that she is going to get him to the gym and i suggested that join in so you don't go to the gym you walk so why don't you incorporate him into your walking and you you walk with him so she she's a morning walker and she's been on a long debate with her husband a morning walker evening walk and then it gets even further complicated on on him trying to buy his fitness shoes so he hasn't finalized on which shoe he will buy but there's such a wide choice and he's going to buy high tech shoe um one of these name brand shoes and not one of these bargain brands that his wife wears and then she's like um why waste money you know this works and and but so he's going to he still hasn't bought a shoe but he's looking into a lot of detail and it's going to be a good shoe and he hasn't quite narrowed down he hasn't finalized on which shoe but he's narrowed down a few good choices and then the other question comes to what shirt what what sportswear will he wear so he he's got um he he's definitely going to be one of those name brand shirts and shorts and his wife again finds no need to overspend on a name brand shirt i mean you're going to walk and sweat and you come home take it off wash it and it's going to get washed every day and and he and he also is like oh no um yeah you can buy what you want but i need to be healthy and i need to take care of myself and i don't want this um bargain brand shirts uh in my exercise routine and i need to have a good shirt and and so okay she says all right anything to get you out and walking up friction is never a good indication so uh yeah i was telling her let him buy his his choice of attire both whatever he wants if he wants some fit bits you know whatever he wants clothes shoes whatever he needs so let let him buy and the thing is we actually do not need all the success but we feel we need it so he feels he needs it so i i said let him buy it and let him get offered this some this image of him when he was a young man so today's show you have been listening to my house my foundation on the bbm global network and tuning radio and i'm your host dr mary marad and hopefully you'll join us next week for
