Welcome to My House My Foundation with your host, Dr. Maryam Mirad. Dr. Mirad will discuss the many issues that cause us to submit to a life that's less fulfilling and less healthy.

Maryam will investigate this national dilemma of poor health and lack of time for physical activity and offer simple yet concrete solutions to this growing problem. So now please welcome the host of My House My Foundation, Dr. Maryam Mirad. Welcome friends.

Welcome to My House My Foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio. And I'm your host, Dr. Maryam Mirad. And our show here today, each week we invite a case study and we talk to her.

And my program is either inviting my guest over or talking about her as a case study. And my aim is to bring to you minimum wellness that's possible on a daily basis. Because I tell you, we are a very health-conscious nation. And on a daily life, daily basis, we just don't have the time.

Everybody's running behind their careers, their jobs, we're chasing time. And where's the hour to the gym? And everywhere we see, we see physically fit posters. The media presents us with physically fit people.

And the situation is exactly opposite. Complete 180 degree circle on the opposite side, whereas average person, the average American in this country, we are gaining weight. You know, our circumstances are increasing even though we're spending more on health and health supplements and anything related to health, health gadgets, gym memberships, fitness equipment, fitness gear, fitness, these race bands, elbow bands, you know, you name it. But as a nation, our health is going down.

And so my aim to this show is to bring to your conscious that the house stands on a foundation, the walls and the roof, they are standing on a very solid foundation. And we bring an expert in to make that foundation. And we realize that our house needs to be very strong. So the foundation is very, very important.

And it's critical that we get an expert who has experience, you know, his gut knowledge, he's built lots of houses and we sort of interview him in great depth. And so he comes in, he makes our foundation. And I ask what about your body's foundation? Our body's foundation is the most neglected part of the body.

I mean, that's surprising. You know, when I talk about this, people are like, really, I never thought about this before, but our feet, we don't look at them, we don't think about them. And definitely the care is much lagging behind them. And food care generally consists of petite cures or massage or reflexology or something in that nature, which we don't really go very often.

We might go like once a month or six, eight weeks, you know, once in a while. But I tell you, we need to do something about our foundation every day. And so this is the aim over here. So I can bring every day people from different walks of life, how they take care of themselves and what they do and how I can improve their minimum care is their foundation.

So that's the aim over here is to bring on a guest and our guest today. She's Amy. She's a beautiful young woman. She just got married.

They just are back from their honeymoon. She's 29. She's on top of the world. And she's just enjoying herself.

And she's so happy. And she married the love of her life and her husband. He's also 29. So they were both together.

They were sweethearts in college. And so they've been together for a few years and their soul mates. You know, they match each other perfectly. And she is a devoted wife now.

She cooks and she's a wonderful cook, you know. So both of them are putting on a little bit of weight because good food. And they said they talk. They enjoy a good life and good food.

So she uses her mom's recipes, lots of healthy eating. And I was asking, you know, Amy, what about the gym? Do you actually go to the gym every day? And she was like, well, you know, we do have a gym membership.

And we think about it. You know, we talk about it. But we don't really get there that often because we're in the south. And right now we're having lots of weather systems.

And Ray and my husband, he's sometimes caught in the traffic. And then he comes home and makes a light snack for him. And then we always sort of plan it that we'll go together to the gym. But don't really work out that way.

And sometimes she has allergies. She has the flu. So either one or the other, one reason or some reason they don't make it to the gym. And I was like, you know, well, you're both young right now.

So you can get away with it for a while. But it's not a healthy habit to avoid daily exercise. And so you have to take baby steps, you know, small steps, but incorporate some level of physical fitness into your life. And they're both young and they're planning.

And she's taking some type off from her career. And so they're both young and happy. And they look gorgeous and some couple of issues, absolutely adult. And she says like, you know, I just stay at home and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

She's a young bride and she's a young housewife. And she's learning and testing all of her recipes. And she's got a lot of cookbooks and she's got her mother's recipes and her friends. And so she spends a lot of time doing the day talking on the telephone and she's chatting with her friends, her family, her mom, her aunt.

So it's mostly about learning how to take care of the house. These are these small little tidbits that you never really learn until hands on. You know, so they've just moved into their dream home. It's a beautiful home and she's a homemaker and she has her plate full.

You know, she cooks the meals and she's learning to cook and she spends most of her time very busy. She's very active and she's always on the goal. You know, she even though it's the term housewife, but she doesn't really have five minutes to herself. She's always somebody's calling or they're having a group conversation or she's running to the store to get some ingredients.

She's shopping. She's down at the clubhouse or, you know, for her neighbor because they just bought a house in a new neighborhood. She's very active in the clubhouse trying to meet her neighbors there and get to know the community because her husband works. So she's the one who is making friends and getting to know the neighbors and seeing who lives in her down her lane.

And they've already invited the neighbors over her immediate neighbors on both sides. And they're also young couples. So it's a new neighborhood and young families. And so they're really happy about it.

And life is sort of on a blast at a zoom-up. Everything is going well and he's got the job and he's out working the whole day. And so when she's at home, she takes care of the house, the cooking, the cleaning, the laundry, all these small little things and shopping and talking to her friends and going out together for lunch or in the neighborhood, making new friends and getting acquainted with what is nearby. So she's very busy and they have lots of plans.

They're a young couple. So they have lots and lots of plans. And right now the fitness is sort of on the back burner because they have gotten a gym membership at the local health club near them. But her husband tries to go there and last week she told me he went there once.

And she was unable to go because her allergies were not that good that day. And it has been three weeks before his last trip to the gym. And I was like three weeks because they generally go together and he went alone. So I was asking her why didn't you go?

And she said that, you know, it's been a while since he went to the gym. So he went without her because he really needed the fitness. So we have to take a quick break over here. You're listening to My House, My Foundation on the BPM Global Network and Tune in Radio.

And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Merat. And we'll be right back after this short break. The earliest human societies worshipped a female goddess.

Little is known about this time because we did not always have a written recorded history. It was around 3100 BC when the Sumerians invented the first written language. And everything that preceded this time is prehistory. The prehistorical record includes all of women's unwritten history from 30,000 BC to the time that men began achieving political power around 3000 BC.

Male feminist artist Kimberly Berg maintains a strong position in educating and inspiring both men and women through his devotional art to the goddess. And all women studying their history is paramount to understanding who women were and who they would become later living in a patriarchal society. I'm your host, Dr. Mary Merat. Today we're looking into the life of Amy. She's a 29-year-old and young wife and she's a newly married girl.

And she is finding difficulty fitting in physical fitness into her daily life. And she's doing great as a wife. She's cleaning the house, she's cooking from scratch. And she spends a lot of time on the phone with her family, her mom, her aunt, her friends to get recipes.

And then she has to go buy the ingredients. And at the same time she's making friends around the neighborhood and seeing what events are there and participating in them. So she's really, really busy. And I was asking her that you need to make it a daily habit of spending some time taking care of yourself.

And the minimum that you need to do is to take care of your foundation. Just like house stands on the foundation, you stand on the foundation. And our foundation is much more complicated because the house's foundation is stationary, whereas our body's foundation is mobile. And our right and our two legs are two feet or different in size and shape, in strength depending on whether you're right-handed or left-handed.

So your right leg will be a little bit more muscular, just like your right arm is a little bit more muscular if you're right-handed. And if you're left-handed, then the left muscle bulk is a little bit more. On the upper arm the forearm is more stronger. So likewise, your foot is also, it prefers left foot if you're left-handed and right foot if you're right-handed, your right foot will be stronger.

So we have to balance both of our legs and both of our feet, entire foundation. So minimum wellness is taking care of your feet. And there's a lot of signs. And people don't really associate the foot with much health.

And we don't even look at our feet and the foot is like out of sight, out of night. But we don't realize one important fact that the whole body, the whole body stands on our two feet. That's a lot to say for just those two little feet that don't really ring a bell. And if you look at ancient cultures, they really value the feet.

And a lot of their health and wellness was actually treating the body from the foot. So there's a lot of signs there. And I've simplified these programs, so I don't really go into a lot of detail of research and medical. You don't need much research.

And even there's so much research on footwear and everything about the foot and health and everything. You can access whole body health from the feet. And because the foot is the same structure ever since we stepped on earth. The caveman, the Romans, Egyptians, they all have the same foot structure.

They all have the same body structure. Our body structure hasn't changed. It's only our awareness has sort of increased. And since some athletes devote a lot of time to physical fitness.

And now we're a health conscious nation, a lot of investment in sports. And so that's where the research is. It's not in the foot itself. It's in what to wear, footwear.

How breathing we need to have a shoes that breathe. Our footwear is really, it's research based. And so is our fitness where what we wear is very light and breathable materials. So the research is more on the outside than on the inside of the foot.

And so minimum wellness is taking care of your foundation. You know, it's that foundation that you need to take care of. Because this are, our guest today, Amy, our case study. She's young and she's really mobile.

She's in good health and she's happy. You know, it's a good time in her life. She just got married and to the love of her life. And they're enjoying their life together.

And she's at home. So she cooks, she cleans. She's excellent housewife. Very beautiful.

And she maintains a clean house and everything that you would desire. Good friends, good family. She goes out, makes effort to invite his friends over. And they have couples parties going out and networking and partying and dancing.

And so they're enjoying the social side of it. But at the same time as women, we wear heels. So high heels, they take a lot of total on the foot. And we'll talk about that a little bit later in the show today.

And so today I'm bringing to you the concept that you need to spend a few minutes focusing. Looking at your feet, we actually don't even look at her feet. And Amy was telling me, she spends the whole day on her foot. She's running around.

And she sometimes has hit her toe on the door and sometimes running down the stairs. She's sprained her ankle. And she misses one of the stairs trying to go real fast. And so, rushing in her life, we tend to injure the foot a little bit.

Either we twist the ankle or we put the foot wrongly on the steps. And we don't really take much notice to it because the foot is very strong and it's built with resistance. So it can take a lot before it brings to consciousness. And every time you have something painful, you know, pain, it's a preventive mechanism in the body.

Because we don't look at her feet until they hurt. We tend to say, oh, you know, my foot hurts. And that requires attention. So if your feet hurt, so some part of the body is aching or it's painful, it draws attention to it.

And that's when we do something about it. So pain is like a protective mechanism for us. We sort of focus on that part of the body. And the first thing we do is take a painkiller, you know, to take the pain away.

So that's our instant remedy of self-medication and painkillers. But we need to strengthen our body's foundation. So minimum wellness is strengthening your foundation. Because we're a very active society.

We like to be independent. We like to be mobile. We like to go in and out by ourselves. We drive.

We walk. We like to go different places. And we don't like dependency. And nobody wants to sit in a wheelchair and be pushed by a tendon.

And that greatly limits your social life, how far you can go and the quality of life. So it's absolutely essential that you take care of your foundation. So we have to take a quick break here. Now you're listening to My House, My Foundation on the BBM Global Network.

And tune in radio. And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Marad. And we'll be right back after this short break.

Now is your time. Welcome back. Welcome back friends to my house, my foundation. On the BBM Global Network and Tune and Radio, I'm your host Dr.

Mary Merad. And today we're looking into the life of Amy. She's a 29-year-old newly married couple. She's newly married.

And she's very active. She's very conscious about her family and making a good food from scratch and healthy cooking, healthy living. Everything has to be breathable. She's very health conscious.

How she arranges the house to cleanliness, everything. Organic foods, organic supplements. And I was asking her, you know, Amy, what exercise do you do? And she was like, wow, we have gym membership and we have a clubhouse.

And her husband is talking about investing into a gym in the garage. But they don't really go to the gym every day. And I was like, my gosh, you need to develop this habit of incorporating the use of your internal gym. So I was telling her, because she stands a lot in the kitchen and she's cooking a lot.

And she makes everything from scratch. So she spends a lot of time just standing there. And when I was talking to her, she was actually chopping some vegetables and a lot of prep work, you know, in fresh cooking. She starts from scratch.

And I was bringing her attention to the fact that you need to first of all place your feet properly. Because just like the house's foundation, the walls, they have to stand on a foundation, which is stable and it has to be balanced. And if you have a work foundation, if the foundation is crooked, the walls, they can't really tall. They can't really stand up straight.

And if the walls aren't straight, then the roof doesn't balance on them. So you have to focus on the foundation. It goes along the way. And the way you place your foot, it affects the whole body.

It affects your ankle joint, your knee joint, your hip, your back joint, everything, your posture. And people don't realize that. And she's like, wow, I never realized that. Just foot placement is a magnitude.

It's just very simple to say how you place your feet. And everybody sort of knows that we have to place your feet like the number 11. And sort of like general knowledge, but who practices it? We all know it, but no one really applies it.

And my aim is to teach you a minimum wellness, you know, a few basic steps, a few basic facts based on science that you can understand why. And when you understand why it is important, you continue to do it. So this is why I explain everything in terms of your house, because we love our houses. We live in them, we door them, we can see them and we can understand.

But when you talk about the body and the foot and science and people sort of close their minds, it's too difficult. And I'm not a science student. And I was never really good at biology. So they don't tend to open their mind or willing to accept the idea, a few science and bio lectures.

So I talk about the house and the house's foundation. So I was telling Amy, you know, you stand in the kitchen because you got to stand in the kitchen and she does her cooking and chopping on one side. And then you have your fridge on the other end, the cooking on the other end, the sink. So it's this triangle concept and she has to keep moving, you know, from the cutting board to the stove to the sink to the fridge.

So she's constantly moving. And I was telling her that you focus on placing your feet. So you start with placement. And if you don't want to, or if you don't get the time to do anything, the first thing is preventive.

So you have to be preventive care for your body. And you must learn to take care of your feet because that's our mobility apparatus. And we need to keep moving and being active and walking all through our lives here. And it's those times when we are all by ourselves, when we're unwell or when we age or, you know, grow older in life or unable to get up and about after surgery or recover your illness.

And it's those times when you're by yourself. And this is when this really comes in helpful. If you have been through my course or learned how to take care of your body's foundation. Because the truth is that you can practice these steps that I have in my program, sitting down, lying down, and you need to strengthen your foundation.

You need to have strong feet. I work on your foot. So when the need comes to stand up, your body is able to stand up. Your foot takes the weight.

So I was telling her absolutely essential that you place the foot properly. And it's not only the foot, you know, the whole body stands on just those two little feet. And there's a whole barrage of signs. And if you look at the skyscraper, it's really, really tall.

And it has a very slim foundation. It's a tall pillar. And that sort of closer analogy to what we look like. We're like tall, really tall skyscrapers.

And we stand on those two little feet. So if you want to be active and mobile and maintain your independence, you got to learn a few little things about taking care of your mobility, minimum wellness. And the truth being that if you can get up and if you can walk around, that's terrific. And always keep that in mind that sometimes we take it for granted that, oh, you know, I just get up and walk and there's a huge vast number of people that are actually unable to do that.

So I was telling her that we need to be thankful. And at the same time, we need to be precautious and take care of her feet. Because when you're young, you don't really think about it. And as we age, so all these injuries, sprains and all these bruises and everything sort of adds up later on into life.

And she has already bumped her big toe once. And she says it sort of hurts. And she likes to wear high heels and really high ones. Well, the heels, you know, those five-inch heels, they go with their dress clothes and they look very smart and she get very attractive.

But they are not really foot friendly. So when you wear them, you need to learn how to take care of your feet, which is absolutely essential. So you're able to wear your heels for longer. And when you wear your heels, the foot sort of elevates.

So you're only standing on the toes, you know, the heel is elevated. So I was explaining to her the need that when she stands in the kitchen, and she's not really doing anything. You know, she's just chopping and the features. You know, it's like a sort of a relaxed mode for the foot.

And just focus on placing your feet properly, you know, stand on both feet equally. So I was emphasizing the fact and standing on both feet equally. So we have to take a quick break over here. You're listening to My House, My Foundation on the BPM Global Network and Tune in Radio.

And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Maran. And we'll be right back after this short break. So you stay tuned.

Welcome back to my house, my foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio. And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Moran. And today we're talking about how to take care of your body's foundation for a young woman who's just married and she's absolutely devoted to taking care of her husband, cooking for him and all the house and everything, networking friends, talking on the phone, dressing up.

Everything is a priority. But when it comes to the gym membership, the couple is sort of like a little bit more than relaxed, but they do have a gym membership and they are investing into an exercise bicycle. So I was telling her that try not to accumulate too much fitness equipment because on the average, the average American family has at least three exercise equipment and five to six books on health and wellness and they're absolutely untouched. So we have equipment that just sort of gathers dust and we don't really use it.

So if they don't really get to the gym, they don't really have the time. So placing an exercise bike may not be the solution for them because they're young. They need something more active. So I was suggesting to her that maybe instead of your husband coming back home, since you also have a car to yourself, he has a car and she has a car.

So why did you drive to his office? And when he finishes at five or six, then you can go to the park there or you can go out for a drive or go out for a swimmer or you're going to do your exercise together and then you can come home. And she was like, oh, that's a good idea because once they're home, it's like he's tired and I sort of doesn't want to get off the couch and he's been sitting in his desk all day and he's really tired and she's trying to make him comfortable, give him coffee. She's got all these teas and drinks and smoothies.

So she gives him a variety to choose from. And she's very good. I was telling her kitchen skills are very good and she's learning to buy the food and to prepare it in small batches. So you take a little bit out and make it.

And so she's got some light snacks and then she's got dinner afterwards. So she's very good taking care of him. And the exercise is not there on the list, but they have a nice time and he's tired. And so she was telling me it's hard for her to persuade him to go to the gym.

And so then she liked the idea of her going to his office and they would go to the gym together because they're a young couple. So they're into gym equipment and she feels like she needs a strong workout. And she's okay. Either way, taking an exercise class or fitness equipment, fitness class or just doing something on her own.

So she's not really particular on which fitness routine she uses. But her husband, he sort of likes to work out with a personal trainer. And he likes that. And he feels that his workout is better.

He gets more of a workout when he works on the gym equipment and he upper body, lower body. He's got those machines and so he feels good. So I was encouraging her. As such, it feels good.

Then what you do is instead of you watching from the sideline, you also join him. So whichever equipment he uses, you also work together. And so they're placed in the line on the equipment. And so you can either do side by side if the next machine is available and sometimes it is.

Sometimes it isn't. So if the gym is a little bit busy, then what you do is you can share. So he can do what you can do. So it's like both of you exercising together and the personal trainer, he gives his explanations.

And so you also learn what the science is, which muscles are being used and which precautions you need to take. And the reps and the sets and the names of the different muscle groups. And the personal trainer, her husband uses it. He likes to use the young personal trainers, the one that are a little bit more interactive.

And they explain to you a little bit more explanations. And they talk about more research and the benefits. And so he likes a young personal trainer who is very knowledgeable. So he can not only do the program with the trainer, but also educate himself along the way.

So this is when she has started to do now. She has started to drive out. And she packs a little juice out. So a little juice is good.

Snack is good. And before exercise, with exercise, they say chocolate milk or peanut butter sandwich. So you can just take something light. And so you can have a little bit before.

And afterwards, of course, they love to come back home and have dinner or go eat outside. And so this is a working out little bit better for them. That instead of the husband coming home and sort of just sitting on the couch is so hard for him to get up. So she tries over to the office.

And she looks very pretty when she dresses up. And so he's always very happy to see her. And she's beautiful smile, radiant personality. You can spot her for months away.

And she's always breath of fresh air to talk to. So when she goes to his office, it's like, oh, yeah, she's so happy. And he's so happy to see her. And so they like that.

And he sits in her car. And she's the one driving because he's tired and he's relaxing. And she doesn't mind. So the gym is near by.

This is a different gym that they haven't ruled, which is near the husband's office. And this is a bigger gym. So what they do is they get the personal trainer and both of them, they sort of, so he works out and she just follows it. So that's okay with the personal trainer because he's training the couple together.

And it's mostly the husband, but she's there for companies. And we'll follow along. And then afterwards, what they do is the gym has huge pools. So they left to go swimming in the pool.

And so it's relaxing and they take a shower by the time they come home. So they've already done their exercise. And that sort of works out well for them. The day is at the office.

And so this is what they're trying to do. And she says at least three times a week. And I was eight for five. You'll get three.

And the day is then that you're at home. You don't really go to the gym or it's raining or whatever. He's got an after office meeting or something like that. Then you don't really make it to the gym.

And then it gets too close to dinner time. And then you're thinking more food and less fitness. Those times I was suggesting to her that she after dinner used the post-dinner walk, which is scientifically proven to stimulate your metabolism. And you lose weight even while you sleep.

Your metabolism gets charged up. And even while you're sleeping, your metabolism is still going because it started. And lots of benefits of a post-dinner walk. It's like old school.

You wait for 19 minutes after you had your main meal. And after dinner you go for a light walk. And so that's very beneficial. And so that's on her list, but not on his list.

Because once he comes home, she has learned this new habit of his that once he comes home, he's just like, it's very impossible to get him up and out of the house. So all the fitness has to take place before he comes home. Because once he's home, he's not getting out the couch. And he's just so hard to get him out the door.

He would just rather stay at home. And when the mind is tired, you shouldn't push the body. So if he's tired, I was telling Amy that if he's tired, don't push him. Because that's when injuries are more likely to occur.

When you force yourself to do physical fitness or you're forcing yourself through a routine and your mind isn't present. So you're just following body. It's not the mind-body connection. You're just physically doing it.

The mind isn't present. And you're not really aware of how your foot is placed or how you're holding the equipment. And that's the time that most injuries occur when your mind is elsewhere. The eyes sort of wander and the body is engaged in some exercise.

And the mind is wandering in the eyes with someplace else. And you don't want to injure yourself. So I always indicate a conscious physical activity. This is why I've made my program very simple.

You have to adopt simple principles of science-proofing science. I mean, this is the body science. Our body hasn't changed since we stepped on Earth. And the physical basic sciences are the same.

So the body functioning remains the same regardless of which issue is or what physical equipment to use or what your sports wear looks like. So you need to learn to use your internal gym. And when you exercise, you need to be mentally engaged. So you need to be actively conscious.

And when you're so tired, the best thing is to take a little nap. You know, I mean, like if you're so, so tired, don't push yourself. So take a little, some juice or smoothie or a warm cup of tea or coffee and just sort of relax yourself. And sort of you need to take a little breather in between and get yourself background again.

And when you do, just make sure before you go to sleep at bedtime, do a little exercise, a little physical fitness for yourself. And I was telling Amy, I said, well, those days that you don't really get to the gym. And you're in the kitchen a lot because she's always preparing something for him. A warm cup of tea, a smoothie, a snack, warming the food, you know, she's cooking.

So she spends a lot of time there. And I was telling her that the days you don't get to the gym and it comes to dinner and at the end of the day or in the afternoon, when you know you're not going to go to the gym and you're working in the house or the kitchen. When you stand to chop your vegetables or food preparation, what you do is you stand on the heel because she wears heels, you know. And this is food care for those women that wear high heels.

You stand on your foot and you stand with the foot placed properly like the electric lemon and you lift your toes up and you hold the toes up. And you can continue with your cooking on top, whether you're chopping, cutting, stirring the food next to the stove. And you stand on both the feet firmly. You lift your toes up and you hold them up.

What this does, it stretches the back of the leg, it stretches the back of the foot, you know, the bottom of the foot is stretched and you're stretching your bones. You know, people don't realize they think it's only the muscles know, but the muscles are attached to the bones, so the bones also need to have an active metabolism. So when you use those muscles, when you exercise, you use the muscles and the muscles pull on the bone and the bone has active calcium metabolism. So the circulation improves in both the skeletal blood vessels and the muscle blood vessels.

So, you know, there's improve of circulation and when blood flows in, it carries the bad blood out the one that has all the junk inside and it brings in the good blood with all the nutrition and oxygen. And it nourishes that particular part of the body, your body's foundation, your body's skeleton and your muscles that hold you upright. So, it's absolutely essential to do some exercise to strengthen the body's foundation. And she was like, hmm, this seems like very easy.

And I said, yes, I've made it very simple and I've made it basic. So, just a few basic things you need to do and you'll be wearing heels for the rest of your life. And she says, yes, and it's the foot will remain the same, you just change your shoes. So, you need to spend a little more time on your feet and heels elevates the back of the foot.

So, your heel is elevated when you wear high-heeled shoes and you need to strengthen and lengthen the back muscles, you know, the back calf muscles. So, when you're cooking your food or in the kitchen, place your foot properly. So, the first thing is you need to have proper foot placement. Be always conscious of how you place your feet.

That we don't look at our feet, but if we think about it, we have our body has special sensory mechanisms. So, we can tell the position of our foot without looking at it, but we have to look into that. It's like a book and we don't know what's inside the book until we open it. So, if you think about it, you will be able to tell the position of your feet.

And I was telling her that your kitchen is like a triangle. You know, the stove is here, the kitchen is, the fridge is there, the sink is here, the cutting board. So, she has to keep moving, you know, and when you move, be careful of the foot placement. You know, don't move so fast that you trip on your own shoes and she has a nice peticular.

So, she has nice long toenails and she takes care of her foot aesthetically. And I was telling her to take care of the foot aesthetically from the inside also. So, you will have good skin on the foot. You'll have healthy toenails.

Your toes will be aligned properly and put the foot properly. So, the foot looks pleasant. It's got good circulation. You know, when you exercise the blood flows and it cleans all the junk in your foot and takes it away.

And it brings in good blood, good nutrition, improved circulation, nutrients from the food, the supplement that we eat. And it nourishes your body's foundation. So, you have a strong foundation. Everything from the skin to the bones is strong, it's healthy, it's well nourished, it's cleaned.

And that's how you maintain a few simple steps. They go a long way. So, this is what she does now when she's at her kitchen. She calls her office, her kitchen, her office, because she's there for long hours of the day.

And when she's standing, so now she focuses on standing on both feet evenly, placing the foot properly like the letter 11. And then she lifts her toes up. So, you lift the toes up and you hold them up. And it stretches the back of your legs and the calf, the bottom of the foot.

And these are the muscles that shorten when you wear high heels. So, it sort of re-lampens them back to their normal structure, because you have to have a balance on the muscles on the top of the foot, the bottom of the foot, the front of the back. So, you got to balance them out. So, this strengthens the muscles there.

So, you will be able to wear your high heels longer. And she loves that, because it's like a mini workout. You know, she's when it's raining, when you spend long hours standing in the kitchen, like she cooks in. And she makes some salads and smoothies and main meals and desserts.

She's got the whole ensemble. She's got cookbooks. And she's a terrific cook already. And she says, oh, no, I'm just learning.

And I said, well, soon you'll be having your own cookbook and your own radio show and TV show. And she smiles. But so, she's making her videos now. So, she's using YouTube.

She's like, okay, well, you know, maybe what I do is I'll make my videos and I'll send them to my mom. So, at least you can see how I'm doing my cooking. And so, they have an excellent relationship between them, the mother, her mom, and herself. And she calls her mother often.

And her mother gives her recipes. And these are not the instant recipes that you open the box in a can and just mix it together. And the food is done. Now, these are healthy.

These are families and recipes, cutting, chopping, and requires some time in the kitchen. So, we have to take a short break over here. You're listening to My House, My Foundation on the Medium Global Network and Tune in Radio. And I'm your host, Dr.

I am the founder of the Castle Lewis I-Sivide Foundation, and author of a series of books entitled, I Survive and Murder Untold, which tells a story of my sister and I, who were abandoned and left in the careable woman who beat us repeatedly. Unfortunately, it resulted in the death of my sister, Castle Lewis, which is revealed in a page-to-page chilling story. After spending time in the foster care system, I've documented my suffering and my loss, and ultimately my survival. I'm blessed to work daily in my community and surrounding areas to give back by helping others and feeding the homeless.

Welcome back to My House, My Foundation on the VBM Global Network in Tune and Radio.

I'm your host, Dr. Mary Merad, and in today's show, we were looking into the life of a young 29-year-old Amy. She just got married and, and to her sweetheart, they've been together since college, and they've got a new house, so she's taking care of the house, shopping, and arranging and everything so much to do, and the most room that she spends time in is the kitchen. She's got lots of recipes, and she's into healthy, organic cooking, and she's never really cooked before she was telling me, but she spends a lot of time in the kitchen, so a lot of good nutrition.

Good nutrition is coupled with exercise, good nutrition and exercise. They both form the basic minimum wellness that you need to take care of is fitness and nutrition, and what better than to have natural nutrition? Good food that she cooks with natural body movements, natural exercises. So, this couple, they have found a way to get to the gym, I've suggested.

She drive to his office, and then they go to the gym, which sort of works out right now best for them, because she has just discovered this new habit. I mean, they've been together for four or five years now, and she was like, oh my gosh, when he comes home, he's so hard to get him off the couch and out of the door that everything has to be done before he comes home, because when he comes home, he just collapses at the energy, and then he'll say how tired and how much work he did, and just she can run to the store and do whatever she wants, and just quickly come back. So, but if she goes to his office, he loves to meet her, and oh my gosh, he sort of got the breath of fresh air and a burst of energy, and they go out to the gym, and they can spend an hour together with a personal trainer. So, right now, this is working out best for them, that they go to the gym before he comes home, and when they come home, of course he's tired, but it's okay, he's gotten his hour at the gym and his physical fitness.

So, that's working out good for him, and for her, because she wears high heels, I suggested doing some foot, well, as taking care of her feet, and she's young, and she's always on the go and active. And she's always already bumped her foot in a sprainer ankle, going up the stairs and oh my gosh, and I was emphasizing the fact of being be conscious of how you place your foot. So, don't go faster than your foot can carry you, slow down a little bit, and injuries they add up, so you need to be conscious of your foot at all times, and remember to take care of your feet. So, posture is important, and I was telling her a few exercises which we talked about in today's show, that she's able to stand on her foot and raise the toes, which stretches the back of the legs, and it helps strengthen the muscles and strengthens the bones and strengthens everything in between from the skin to the bones and balances and it aligns the whole lower leg together, the whole lower leg, the foot, everything inside, and the two feet, they have to be aligned, balanced, good standing.

So, this is my aim is to teach you directly what you can do in your daily life, and this is the best thing I teach you, I empower you, and I make you able to take control of your life.
