Welcome to BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio, the radio that is great radio shows for you. And right now you're on My House My Foundation with Dr. Maryam Mirad. And I'm your very passionate host.

And my purpose of this show is to bring everyday people and ask them, do you do your daily exercise or is daily exercise lacking from your life? And today we'll be talking on a very serious note. My guest today has got hearing loss. So we will be asking her, how does it feel to have hearing loss and how her loss of hearing has affected her daily lifestyle?

And is she exercising or how is her daily physical activity changed? So let me welcome Josephine. Hello Maryam, how are you? Welcome to our show, Josephine, My House My Foundation.

And we're very happy to have you here because we will be talking about hearing loss and you have recently undergone considerable amount of hearing loss. And we will ask you about how has it affected your life. Can you tell us in a few words how hearing loss has affected your life? Hello Maryam, I am, I lost my hearing and because of my hearing loss I'm very uncomfortable or worries.

Yes, you worry a lot, yes. And in our audience they can tell from your voice that you're very worried about your hearing loss. And it has had dramatic impact on your life. And I'll tell you, people take their sight and their senses for granted.

When we're young, life is good, it's happy. And we take our life for granted and we do really don't care about our eyesight, our senses, our hearing, our taste, our smell. And Mom continually has to remind us, turn the music down. It's so loud, it's bad for your ears, turn it down.

And now we have those earplugs so we can turn the music down and we can hear loud music. We love the music, you know, the louder the music the better it sounds. But loud music is actually not that really well for you. And the statistics show that hearing loss is quite profound.

Actually two thirds of Americans have some degree of hearing loss. And the sad thing is that most people are really not aware of it. So that is a very serious note for most people to consider. That they have some type of loss and they're not even sensitive about it.

And it's only in the advanced stages that we go for a regular checkup. And it's only in the seniors that you really think about hearing loss. When we were young, it was mostly grandma and grandpa. But it's come down now to the younger generation.

You know, lots of younger people are hearing music louder and louder. So the preventance of hearing loss is growing at a surprising rate. And so we're talking today on hearing loss and how this affects your daily exercise schedule. Because with hearing loss, your life is really altered.

Because your senses are altered and your interaction with outside world is greatly altered. Because you will react to what you perceive and you will react to what is brought to you. And if your senses are a little bit on the lesser side, so you're less aware of your surrounding, you're not completely communicating with others as you would like to. So it changes your life dramatically.

And this is our aim today. It is to talk about hearing loss, you know, to bring to your conscious that this is very prevalent in our society. And this is one reason why you might think that somebody's not really intelligent, or you might think that they're not cooperating, or you might think that they're sort of not interested. But actually none of that is true because they just haven't understood you.

And most people tend to overlook and they try to cover up their loss. And so when you think that somebody's not interested, or they're not listening to you, or they're sort of acting like, you know, they want to be simply sales, they probably haven't understood what you're trying to tell them. So I always put in an extra effort and try to communicate with people because I have a message and I want to get my message through to you. And my program is actually for those that are less able, less active, like my mother was.

So I have a passion and this is my reason for coming out to the public to go to America and to bring each person out. And I may not be able to change the world, but I want to change the world for each person, one person at a time, and see how I can help them and put some physical activity, some daily activity, daily exercise into their life, and look into their current situation of why they're not going to the gym, what's stopping them from enjoying the community services, the park, or the recreational facilities where they live. And so today we're looking into the life of Josephine. She's a wonderful lady.

She's just crossed 50 years of age and she's confronted with hearing loss. So we will be talking to her in a little bit more detail and she just expressed that she's really worried. And of course, you know, health is number one and everybody's list. Anything that affects your health and wellness is of course a cause for concern.

And when your senses are a little bit on the downside and you cannot communicate so well, you're less aware of your surroundings. It's really worry and she worries so much and you cannot tell them that don't stress about it because it's very real. And they live it every moment of the day. It's very real for them.

And they're less aware of their surroundings even though they're trying to hear maximum, you know, they're putting in their full capability, their full capacity to listen, but they're unable to get the input that they would want. Josephine, can you tell us when you had this hearing loss about how long has it been? When did you first encounter this? So how long ago did you experience your first hearing loss?

How? I love my job because of the hearing impairment and the reason to leave the job is my job was public-related. And public relation is really difficult if you have a hearing problem. My hearing loss was kind of very uncomfortable.

So that's why I leave my job from this position. Yes, and you're a very educated, well-educated person with a master's degree at, and you're a very fond of your job. And it was your passion. And you're a very elegant lady, very beautiful, very charming.

She's full of charm and grace and she has good taste. But now she's concerned like nothing else crosses her mind except for her hearing loss. It's like number one, it's taken over everything and now that she has left her job, so life has completely changed for her. You know, a job is like, it's the number one thing you do most hours of the day.

You get to spend the morning, you dress up and you get dressed, you drive to work and you put your good clothes, your nice makeup and everything on, your good jewelry, and your food, your job. And you know, you're there the whole day and that's your livelihood. That's where your income comes in and money coming in is where you spend on your lifestyle. And then all of a sudden she had to leave her job, which was very tragic.

So it happened all of a sudden, right? So you left your job all of a sudden, yes. So we would be looking into that. And so you're listening to My House, My Foundation on the BBM Global Network, and I'm your host, Dr.

Maryam Murad. And we will continue with our discussion right after this break. So stay tuned. On the list of obstacles that bind you with certified professional coach Joanne Charette, a master practitioner in energy leadership.

And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Marad. And today we're discussing hearing loss. How does hearing loss affect your daily activity, your daily physical activity and your daily routine?

And my guest today is Josephine. She's a 15-year-old lady and she has just experienced a sudden hearing loss for which she had to leave her job. And so she's very sensitive about that. So Josephine, can you tell us a little bit more about your having to leave your job?

What was the reason that you left it and how did you feel? My job was very supportive and I was very happy doing this job. But because of my hearing loss and inconvenient to talk to the customers, I was very depressed. I cannot be communicated well to the people.

So that's why I leave the job. Yes, you were a very good employee. Yes, they liked you and you had a lot of promotions and you were telling me a lot of positive experiences. And then all of a sudden to leave your job.

I mean, it's like today you decide that you're not coming back and it's permanent. So it's not like you're on a short vacation and you'll be back after a few days off. So it's like permanent. So you left your job and it was like a major decision to leave your job because you were valued and you were very good at it and you were people's person.

And you were there for a number of years. So I can only imagine how the experience it was like to turn in your resignation, how it felt to you. This is my last day and I'm putting in my resignation because of my hearing loss. And I really cannot hear what the people are talking to me and despite the best efforts.

So tell us that you just went to the doctor and so he tested you for hearing loss. This is this hearing loss impact on my life very much because my whole life is changed because of the hearing loss. I have to do I have I cannot do the things I used to do and I wanted to do like the way I was living before and communication and job and my life is totally because of the job loss totally changed. My whole life is changed because of the hearing loss and I leave the job and I'm not doing any job right now because of the hearing loss because it's really difficult for me to talk to the people to understand the people.

Yes, you're a lovely lady. I tell you sitting here with you she's so elegant. If you could see her she you look at her and smile beams across her face really despite her condition. She's such a pleasant lady to talk to when I was I was talking to her regarding the show and it was such a pleasure to talk to her.

She's so warm and she's so understanding but you have to repeat everything twice and sometimes you say one thing and she thinks she's heard another. So you have to repeat like two three times and not everybody is as patient as I am to be able to communicate my message to the other person and to leave your job just completely alters your lifestyle. I mean I can imagine she was telling me she she used to dress up very nicely and she has a nice collection of shoes and clothes that she used to wear and now they're just lying in her closet and she's relying in the boxes and she stays home because she's not working anymore. So to be going to work every day like you know Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday so many days of the week.

So your whole Monday and all the Monday goes through you watching the clock every hour of the day ticking by and then Tuesday comes up and you're thinking you know I was working on Tuesday and your home all Tuesday and you know morning, afternoon and then you think oh this time I was coming back from my work and then Wednesday and Thursday and Friday so it's a very long week all day home by yourself. You know you're not at your work but mentally you're still there but physically you're not there anymore. I can imagine the devastating blow it must have been especially in this economic conditions when most people are having a difficulty finding a job and here you have a wonderful job they love you and they give you such great reviews and you know you're getting promotions and they like you and you like your work so it's a perfect working relationship between you and your employer and all of a sudden this hearing loss comes out and it's sort of progressive and it gets to the point where you cannot hear whether people are telling you so I can just imagine what it was like to turn in your resignation and to make that decision is so painful you have to draw in that extra strength to pull it out that what is the right thing to do. Of course you know you want to go back to your work and you would like to take up where you left off but you have to make the right choice and the right decision is one of the most difficult ones to make up what is the right thing for me to do.

If I cannot hear whether people are telling me then I have to resign so you put in your resignation and it's awfully painful and it changes your life completely here a working woman, Monday to Friday the whole day you're at work and all of a sudden the job just vanishes and your employer loves you and there you're gone and you're putting in your resignation and my goodness I'm so so devastating that words aren't really there to describe what it feels like to resign from a good job that you have held for years and you're actually good at it you have the skills you have the qualifications and you're doing a terrific job and they love you and they give you good reviews and here you are turning in your resignation because you can't hear what the people are talking about and you know you cannot hear so it must have taken every ounce of strength that you had. So you were listening to My House My Foundation on the BBM Global Network with your host Dr. Marya Murad and we'll be right back after these few messages so stay tuned. Welcome back welcome friends to my house my foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio and I'm your host today Dr. Marya Murad and today we're talking about hearing loss how hearing loss affects your physical activity and our guest today is a very lovely lady and she unfortunately suffered hearing loss as recently and she has had to leave her job and you don't realize the impact of hearing loss actually in America. 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss you know that's a huge number 48 million Americans boy.

So let's talk to Josephine. Josephine can you tell us how your communication has been affected by this hearing loss? I am very very social person and I love to be around with my friends and because of this hearing loss I lose all my connections and my friends communication and I cannot talk the way I used to be and I love to be around with my friends because my friends say that you are people's person and I am people's person I love to be around with my friends and family but because of this hearing loss I'm very limited. I have to think about when I talk and is effect whole my lifestyle.

Yes that's true. You were telling me that now with hearing loss you have sort of withdrawn. You no longer really call your friends because they find it difficult to talk to you because they have to repeat and they say that you don't understand and the thing is you do understand is just that you don't hear. So the people they sort of misinterpret you they think that you don't understand but the thing is you don't hear and this has drastically depressed you you know me so you lost your job you resigned from your job and now your friends don't really talk to you because they feel that you don't understand.

Even though the thing is that you cannot hear that well but you can hear words that are spoken slowly and clearly so that helps you know if you speak them slowly and clearly to a person who was undergoing hearing loss. So Josephine can you tell me you mentioned you love to walk in the park are you still going for your walk in the park. I am very sad because of I cannot be the way I used to be I love to be around with my friends and communicate and socialize but all this being because of this job situation is kind of bad because of this hearing aid I could not do the way I used to do my life is change. My life is totally changed my style is changed like us is effect on whole my life is style.

Yes that's true you're spending a lot of time in the home so in the house you need to gain your control of yourself and since you're not going outside anymore you know it has affected your job it has affected your driving skills it has affected your communication with your friends it has greatly altered your life to a great extent. You know I mean can you imagine you talk to people on work and you're no longer at work and you're at home and even when you're at home when you talk to your friends they don't understand you and they tend to talk a little bit faster than you can communicate so you're sort of home by yourself. And so I was explaining to you earlier that you need to gain your strength and even though you don't leave the house you need to be mobile in the house because you stay by yourself so you have to take care of your feet because that is my show here my house my foundation. It explains to you that like the house stands on a foundation your body also stands on its foundation and we would like you to be mobile and walking in your house because you do all your cooking and cleaning you know you do everything for yourself.

So the one part that you have to take care of which is like the minimum because I know you don't have the energy and the strength and you're undergoing a lot of stress right now but do take care of your feet and look at visual clues also so you need to be mobile in the house and we'll be talking a little bit more about that a little bit later in the show. But the one thing that you need to care of is your feet because that is your mobility apparatus that is what carries your body. So even though you're undergoing so much stress and so much turmoil in your personal life but you have to uphold yourself you know physically so you can walk in the house. You know you have to walk from the bedroom to the kitchen to the kitchen to your TV chair your television the rocking chair that you have in front of your television to your study.

I know you like to read then you want to talk to your friends. So you do and it alters your life a little bit and believe me Joseph you're not alone. 48 million Americans are also suffering some degree of hearing loss and that's a staggering number of people to be affected by one condition and life alters itself. So you have to if nothing else you have to take care of your body's foundation.

So that sounds reasonable to you taking care of your body's foundation just a little bit you spend some time taking care of your feet. You know when you are alone in home you would like to communicate at least on phone with your friends and family but some of them feel uncomfortable because I'm having difficulty hearing the people and because of this hearing loss. This is this make me very difficult and make me really impressed because I cannot talk the way I wanted to do it communicate socialize and be around with my social circuit and talk to my friends and family and socialization and socialization. So it's very hard not to talk to your friends because your people's person and you have lots of friends and they want to talk to you and you communicate and you go out with them and plus you're working so you have your work friends you have your social friends and your people's person.

You really really have a lot of friends. You're one of those people that knows everybody around and everybody loves you and your nature is very giving you understand people you talk to them. So your life has sort of altered over here. You're listening to My House My Foundation on the BBM Global Network in Tune in Radio and I'm your host Dr.

Maryam Marad and will continue with our discussion after this short break so stay tuned. Hi, my name is Marad Fox and I am a survivor. I want to introduce to you the Casaluis Eye Survive Foundation by visiting www.counaluis.com or you can call us at 540-99-8401.

Thank you. Welcome back and welcome to My House My Foundation and today we're investigating hearing loss on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio and I'm your very passionate and devoted host Dr. Maryam Marad and it is my aim to change the world for 1 person. introduce one physical activity, one daily exercise, which they can easily do.

And today it is a task with a lady with hearing loss, and I'm trying to put in some daily activity into her life. She recently underwent profound hearing loss in both years, one followed by the second, and she left her job, and now she is home alone. Her friends don't really talk to her because they feel that she doesn't understand, even though she does that she doesn't hear that well. And so we will be talking a little bit more to her.

So Josephine, can you talk a little bit more about your day? How do you spend your day? Before my hearing loss, I was very popular and my friends and everybody. But now I'm home alone.

I feel very depressed because the way I used to do, I cannot do it. My friends, some of them are good. They can try to understand me and some of them feel uncomfortable because I'm having a problem hearing. I'm having a problem to understand.

And being home alone is very difficult. Yes, this is like home alone 24 hours a day. You know, I mean, there's nothing like it 24 hours a day. So this is what my aim is to tell her a little something that she can do herself.

And I was encouraging her that, you know, you're home alone. You need to take care of yourself. You are precious. You are valuable.

You have a right to live your life. Despite the odds, despite your health condition, we all have a little bit of our health conditions going on. Everybody takes their medicine, goes to the doctor regularly. And Josephine is following the doctor's orders exactly how the doctor advises her.

So, but she feels very, very lonely the whole day. And it's a very short trip to the doctor's office that sort of like the only time she leaves the home. And otherwise, she's home all alone. And I was telling her, you have to like get up and walk around your house.

You have to make friends with the trees you see outside with the birds singing outside on those trees, you know, open the window, get into touch with nature and bring some nature inside. So, you know, open your windows. There's a fresh breeze blowing. Enjoy this fresh breeze and listen to those birds singing outside.

And she loves nature. You know, she used to, she was telling me she used to walk in the park and this park walks her history now because she doesn't want to go out by herself. And she has so many concerns. She's so worried about such a long list of things that, boy, it's just spending time with her.

I feel so honored that I could change the life of one person. And she actually finds my advice very useful. So, I was telling her, Josephine, you need to take care of your feet because your feet are your body's foundation. And you can sit in the chair the whole day when you're at home.

There's not much to do. And she's by herself. So, she sits, you know, you watch your television, the pictures go by and you're sitting there, you got to remove, there, change all the channels. So, you have to take care of your feet.

And I have in teacher, my foot program because you have to keep your foot strength strong. Yeah, you have to have a strong body's foundation. So, when the need arises, you can stand up and you can go to the kitchen. You can do your cooking because she cooks herself and you don't want to trip over anything and you don't want to fall.

You need to be able to be mobile from your television chair that you sit all day. And then you want to be able to walk to the refrigerator, get something cold to drink, you know, it's summer. So, you want a cold glass of water or some cold juice or in the morning you want to make your hot cup of coffee. So, you have to walk carefully and slowly.

And I was telling her, use both feet. Don't rush. Walk slowly and be in full control of yourself and try to alleviate your depression. Sing a song or open the window.

Look at the birds, look at the birds flying outside. Look at the trees waving and it just leaves the gentle breeze blowing through the leaves, you know, the trees moving. You can get lost in that. And when you have so much time, I mean, you're home all alone by yourself 24 hours.

So, Josephine, what do you think? So, you like your house. I know you love your house and do your own cooking and you do everything yourself. So, you have to get up on your feet.

So, you have to take care of yourself. I know it's very depressing when you're home by yourself. But the one thing that you need to take care of every day are your feet. So, you got to do these foot exercises that I've taught you here.

And stand on both feet. You know, be careful with your footage. Yeah. So, when you walk, you be careful of your feet.

I, you know, because of the alone, with the loneliness, I don't feel good at being alone because I'm not alone lonely person. I like to be friends. And when I talk to the friends, I advise them to talk to us a little slow and clear. So, I would understand.

So, they, I will understand what we are talking about. And some of them do follow my request, whatever I ask them. Because being by myself at home, I don't feel good. Yes, that's right.

You have to be at home. So, what you do is you make best friends with yourself, you know, be friendly with your feet. Yeah. Take care of your feet.

They're your best friends now, because they will support you. You know, those are two small feet. They support your body weight. And they carry you to the kitchen when you want to hot cup of coffee or you want to cold glass of water from the fridge or you want to stand up and cook something.

You don't have to stand on your two feet. So, be careful to stand on both your feet. Yeah. And, and, and try to walk around your house.

So, don't sit too long in your chair. I know hearing loss is really, really profound. And, believe me, the number is staggering, even though there are more men than women. But whoever it is, it's like the whole world has fallen upon me.

And the sky has really fallen down on me. And tomorrow is never going to come. But there is a tomorrow. So, we have to live life one day at the time.

And she's doing the best for herself. She's following the doctor's orders carefully. And she's taking care of herself. So, life is one day at the time, even though you're home alone.

So, you, you try to make each moment a happy moment. You, you try to make friends with the birds flying by and you know, you have to learn to talk to the plants and the trees that grow outside your window. And believe me, I'm there. There is a silent language.

So, we're talking to Josephine on hearing loss on My House, My Foundation. And this is the BBM Global Network and tune in radio. And I'm your host, Dr. Maryam Arad.

And we'll be right back after these short messages. So, stay tuned. My dreams, my challenges and joys is an inspiring book by author Linda Janazzo. Welcome to BBM Global Network and tune in radio's My House, My Foundation. And I'm your host, Dr. Maryam Arad. And today we're talking about physical activity with hearing loss.

So I guess today has profound hearing loss. And you know the sad thing about hearing loss is that people wait according to numbers here 15 years before they purchase their first hearing aid. I mean that is absolutely what can I say? It's beyond words for any adjective I know.

But generally people wait. I mean this is from the Veterans Hearing Institute statistics. People wait 15 years from the time they know they have a hearing loss until they purchase their first hearing aid. Can you believe that?

That's absolutely incredible. So what happens when you have hearing loss, the steps involved is when you feel that you're unable to hear or everything goes quiet or somebody around you, your teacher or some family member or friend, they notice that you're awfully quiet. So you go get your hearing checked. And if your hearing is impaired, you are given this hearing aid to wear.

And the hearing aid is a very small device. It's the size of your tip of your little finger. And if it's snug inside the outside of your ear, you put it in the external ear in the cavity there. And it sort of magnifies the sounds coming.

And most people wear the hearing aid right and left. So whichever ear is affected you, wear the hearing aid. And the small little hearing aid has a little knob on it. So you can make it louder or you can make the voice according to however your hearing loss is.

And so you can increase the volume. And at night when you go to sleep, you take this hearing aid out from your external ear and put it next to your bed table there, bedside. And in the morning you put it back into your ear. So this is something that you can detach and remove in the night sleep without it comfortably.

And come back in the morning and you can put that back into your ear, this small little external hearing aid, which is the size, the tip of your little finger. And what happens after that is with progressive hearing loss, if you have a more severe hearing loss, the hearing aid is not enough. So that you have to go to a specialist, another specialist for a cochlear implant. So what they do is they will implant surgically implant a device into your ear that will enhance the sounds that you hear.

So this device is implanted surgically into the ear right and left separate. So you can hear the sounds a little bit better. And this is for more profound hearing loss. And this you cannot remove when you go to sleep at night.

So this is with you always. So my guest today is suffering profound hearing loss all of a sudden. And I have been talking to her today. And she has been telling us that it's been very devastating to be home alone, have no job.

And she has resigned from her job because of her hearing loss. And her friends, actually, most of them, they refrain from calling because she cannot hear. Even though now she has a different telephone. So your telephone is different.

You know, can you tell us about the special phone that you use to talk? It's a special phone. Yes, I am trying to do as much help as I can get for to be my hearing, even my hearing aid at her, but it's not work the way I want it to. And, you know, I when I get very lonely at home, but I do, I try to find out the my backyard, go border my plan and take care of my plans, come to the kitchen and try to do try to do my new recipes and go to the walking for outside the park.

And I used to like, I like to play, I used to play tennis, but now I cannot play because of this disability. This is kind of affecting my life. It's a that hearing loss effect all my life. It is really terrible to lose my hearing.

Yes, you had a terrific life before I can imagine how much fun it was like tennis and walking in the park. And now, do you walk in the park? I just wanted to do things the way I used to do at home, at house, I used to do a lot of things for my friends and my family and my children, a lot of activity I used to do. I love that.

And there's so many things that I cannot do it, but I check with several ENTs and they say that there is nothing wrong in my ears. They check several times, several doctors and everybody say that your ears are very healthy. You have no problem at all. So that one ENT, in memorial, he said that I don't want to do just cut for no reason because cutting like he means by surgery.

He said it probably won't even help you and you would have another trouble and another difficulty of living. So I just say, well, it's okay as it is, I'm trying to live with it and trying to help as much as I can do. And the passing the day at a time and try to be very positive and think right and do things the way I do and try not to be said. Yes, I can imagine what this experience will be like because you're going to a number of specialists and each one has their own opinion as to what you can do.

And you are sort of like I was explaining, first you go to the doctor and he tests your hearing. So when you first have hearing loss, you have hearing aids which you put inside your external ear, which you wear them. And now they're doing more tests on more profound tests. So she has passed the hearing aid and you need a little bit more help now, they're looking into implants.

So those people that need implants, they are a little bit more serious, people a little bit more profound hearing loss, which is not helped by the hearing aid. So you have to go to the next step to in order to hear a little bit better. So that is where she is now. And you are listening to My House, My Foundation, and we're discussing hearing loss on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio.

And I'm your host, Dr. Maryam Murad, and we'll be right back after this short break. So stay tuned. Are you looking for employment in Live in Los Angeles, Orange Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties?

That's J-O-B-S-A-N-N-E-X.com. Welcome back. Welcome, friends, to my house, my foundation on the BBM Global Network and TuneIn Radio. I'm your host, Dr.

Maryam Marad. Today, we're looking into the life of one person, one lady who has suffered profound hearing loss quite suddenly, that she has to leave her job and she's home all alone and we're trying to get her to do a little bit physical activity to take care of her feet. So, Josephine, how do you like my ideas that I have taught you about food care, so you stay mobile and active? Maryam is a very good person.

She is an angel for me. She's been helping me a lot. One day, I saw Maryam's food demo and was very impressed with it. Thank you, Maryam, for inviting me.

Thank you for helping me. It's my pleasure, honestly. She's a lovely lady. Thank you for coming on her show.

I hope you realize from listening that a lot of people you think are not interested. They're not keen, but what they're undergoing is profound hearing loss. This is a silent disease that progresses. A lot of people don't really give time to themselves and even though they know they have hearing loss, the numbers are surprising.

By the time they know they have a hearing loss till they actually get to hearing aid is about 15 years. Can you believe that? So, everybody out there that's listening to my show and has hearing loss, we would urge you strongly to go get your ears checked again and get your hearing aid so you can get out into the park, jog, and get your physical activity going because you need that daily exercise no matter what happens right in the snow or shine. You got to do some physical activity and that is the purpose of my show to look into the life of one person individually and see what they can do, what daily exercise can I add to their life?

What simple easy steps can they incorporate without buying anything or any major changes? What can they easily do? So, today we had her guest with hearing loss and she is home all alone and she gets very depressive in home all alone with hearing loss and believe me, she's living one day at a time and she's hanging in there. She does her work all by herself.

So, we suggest to her that she starts walking and she doesn't sit in a chair all day. Sitting in a chair all day is very, very depressing and you're looking at the same scenery so you have to get up and walk. Go take a glass of water. Water does you good.

So, you stand up on your two feet and balance and walk slowly and look at where you're going. So, you can see where you're going to the kitchen and you see yourself there. So, that is our show today and I hope you have enjoyed it and it is my aim to bring out one person at a time, one person from average America. Why are Americans not exercising?

And what's the reason? We don't make it to the gym. So, today we were looking into the life of one person and why she has all of a sudden withdrawn from her job and her friends and just started staying at home. So, one person at a time I want to look into the lives of one person and make a difference to that one person at a time.

Each person is precious. You know, we may feel that no one cares about us but that's wrong. I care about you and what you need is a little physical activity to get up and about and everything starts moving and so do you and natural exercise is the best. So, I hope you've enjoyed our show today and you have been listening to My House, My Foundation and I'm a very passionate host Dr.

Marya Murad on the BBM Global Network and TuneIn Radio. So, we hope that you will tune in again next time. Until next week, we say farewell.
