Maryam Mirad. Dr. Mirad will discuss the many issues that cause us to submit to a life that's less fulfilling and less healthy. Maryam will investigate this national dilemma of poor health and lack of time for physical activity and offer simple yet concrete solutions to this growing problem.

So now please welcome the host of My House My Foundation, Dr. Maryam Mirad. Welcome friends. Welcome to your favorite show, My House My Foundation.

On the reputable BBM Global Network and TuneIn Radio, I'm your very passionate host, Dr. Maryam Mirad. And in this show, we aim to look at why America is very health conscious, but why individual Americans have a slight problems with their health and their weight and their wellness in general. So our aim is to look at the lives of individual people one at a time.

I may not be able to change the world, but I'm going to change the world for one person at a time. And our guest today is a very young girl. She's very active and we're down in Houston and we're having really terrible rains. So she's caught in the rain, but I will use her as a case study today.

And she's charming young lady. And you know what? She just graduated from high school. Yes.

She just graduated from high school. And if you meet her, she's so young, she's just 18. And she has bright eyes. You know, her eyes have this big hope, this big dream.

And she's got a bright future ahead of her. You know, she just graduated from high school and she has such a smiling face, a smart girl. She's a picture of beauty and brains. Yes.

And you can see that smile beaming across her face from miles away. And so she's unable to come because, you know, we're having really severe weather and severe rain. So she's caught in the rain. So I will talk about her like a case study as we discussed.

And like I was telling you, she just graduated from high school. And right now it's a big time is graduation school graduation, where there's such a huge landmark to look up to. And she has just completed this huge step out of school. You know, school is just considered from nursery.

And even though you're in high school, it's just like school. And you make this huge step. Yeah, graduation is really, really big. And I hope everybody has the experience for graduating from high school.

And it takes a lot of determination and a lot of experience in it. Discipline. So she has finally made it through high school. And over the course of the hour, we will see the life of this one student.

How she incorporates physical exercise, what exercise she likes. And is it possible for students to really exercise regularly? Do they feel the need to? And this is the purpose here is to introduce exercise and natural exercise without any extra cost or any physical strain or hardship on you to put natural exercise into your life.

Make it easy so you can continue it. And the easier it is, the more regular you are, and the more you will be able to continue on a long term basis. So here we are right where school has just turned out for the summer and everybody's celebrating graduation. It's a big time and wherever you go, the stores have got balloons and packages and all the cards have got high school graduates.

You know, it's a big graduation at the end going on. And of course, physical activity is not on top of their list of grads. They have a career to build. They have a life to think about.

And college is a very serious matter. Lots of choices. So it's ongoing. School is school has sort of ended, but now they stepped into real life and real life has real life situations.

And you have to have a lot of counseling. You have to talk to your teachers, your counselors, your parents, your peers, your friends' parents, everybody in the community is giving you good advice. And you're thinking of like, which career is good for me? Which path should I take?

So these students are sort of more determined on the career path and they're not like, okay, let's step into the gym for summer. But so my aim here is to teach them natural wellness, you know, easy things that they can incorporate and put daily exercise. It's not one day at the gym. It's not one month at the gym.

This is daily exercise. It has to be easy. It has to be simple and it has to be daily exercise. So it requires a little bit of discipline.

But the earlier you start, the better you are. And you know how many students graduate really? 83% students graduate from high school. I wish that number would go up to 100.

So 83% of graduates are celebrating now. They've graduated this year and they finished with their schooling and looking into life ahead. And summer spells fun for students. You know, you've got summer camps, they're traveling, all sorts of fun activities.

They travel by themselves. They go around the world, stand by flights and meet lots of students on standby tickets when you travel. They're just out to see the world on their own. They have time.

They don't have the money, but they should have the time and the energy and they got the patience to take these flights out and see the world. Generally everybody, it's very popular to take a year off and just travel and explore and look at the world at large. So okay, we move forward and let's see. Now, summer over here is a time of change.

Because school has sort of passed and everybody has now gotten their diplomas. So your name is written on this very important certificate from school and you have fine with finished school. And that's the end of school. And now everybody has got big plans, big dreams.

And I guess today also big plans, big dreams. And this girl, she's very smart. She is working all through summer. Yes, she's working every single day.

And she's collecting money that she gets as her wages, everything she cumulies. She's not spending anything and she's putting it towards her tuition. That's her college tuition. And she's working all through the summer.

So, fall comes. She will enroll into the fall semester and all power to you. And lots of students, they work, you know, summer jobs there. They don't pay well, but if you add the amounts up, you know, they pay you good enough for students.

They don't require any experience for those jobs. So the summer jobs, they are good. Real life experiences, no experience generally required for them. And students are very energetic and very enthusiastic.

So lots of summer jobs out there. And all the students, so you know, you save up for your money and students, they work really long hours. Now our guests here, she works really long hours. And what she does is she's actually working in a fine dining restaurant.

It's a very large restaurant. And she's a waiter there, waitress. So she's on her feet the whole time. And we will continue on our discussion.

With the BPM Global Network and Tune in Radio on My House, My Foundation. And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Yamurad. And we'll be right back after the short break.

So stay tuned. Hello, everybody. This is Coach Betty Louise. And I have a question for you.

In addition, at least 40% of women are sexually repressed. And one in seven marriages are sexless. I've just completed a book called Healing of Pleasure Medicine. What I will teach you is what gets in the way of your ability to see your beauty, sensuality and sexuality.

How to shift your perception to increase pleasure throughout your entire day. Okay, the place to find all of this information is coachbettylive.com. One more time, coachbettylive.com. Look forward to connecting.

Dr. Slosar explores the psychological impact of increasing narcissism, perfectionism, self-destruction and our identity confusion. Maryam Murad. Today we're discussing the life of one student. She has just graduated from high school and she's working her way through summer every day. She's working.

We're going to see what is her physical activity and what is her exercise during the summer while she's working to build a partition for the fall semester. This girl is very determined. I absolutely adore her. She's brilliant.

She's gorgeous. You see her eyes. You can sparkle because she's got the bright future ahead. I was telling you, she works in a fine dining restaurant.

Now, this restaurant is really, really large and lots of people. They go lunch and dinner. There's a line going out the door. She has to work full speed and she's very energetic.

She enjoys her work. It's very long hours. Believe me, on the feet, I wonder what those poor feet like when she gets offered her long hours of service. This girl is not slow, but Eddie means she's very fast and you're walking.

You're walking fast the whole day, a very busy restaurant, and you're always on your feet. At the end of the day, you feel like you have overworked yourself. Your feet are so tired. But actually, whether you sit all day or whether you're on your feet all day, the foot requires attention.

I was telling her that since you're on your feet the whole day and you're so young, you just graduated from high school, you need to take better care of your feet. So you don't trip because this fine dining restaurant is generally fine dining restaurants or don't have bright lights up. So they're dimly lit and they're very busy. It's quite large.

It's fully packed. People are always in there for lunch, for dinner and lots of movement in and out. And she's very active and she's going to work the whole summer waiting tables all day, all those long hours. And plus, she's working extra hours so she can collect money for her tuition because once the college starts in the fall semester, she wants to focus on her education.

And she'll be still be working, but the hours will not be like every day. So she doesn't really get much time off. And every time she's there and I was telling her, you know, you need to think about like the show is called My House, My Foundation. Think about the House's Foundation and think about your body's Foundation.

So as soon as I told those words to her, I could see some bell rang in her head and she immediately visualized it. You could tell her vision expression change like, oh my gosh, it's true. I'm on my feet the whole day. And I need to stand like the House's Foundation.

I need to support my Foundation. And I need to be stable. I need to be solid. I need to balance everything.

And I have to prevent any slips and falls because you know what? Her tuition depends on her feet. So she have to care about your feet. You don't try to avoid injury and don't hurt your feet.

You don't let you see lots of people the way they stand. They twist and they turn them. But just look at the House's Foundation. You cannot have the wall standing when the Foundation is warped and crooked and one going in that direction, the other in that direction.

So I was thinking about your feet. I was telling her, when you stand, always stand like the House's Foundation. You need to be very stable, very solid. And you need to balance the walls and the roof.

The entire body balances on the feet. So foot care is very, very essential. And the students that work waiting, they generally have their sneakers on, they're dressed for action, got their sneakers on and they're here tight back and caps on and here, here, style or whatever the restaurant clothes or the uniform. And these people, they move.

So you're always moving. And just because you move, it doesn't mean that you take less care of your feet. No. You got to take equally good care of your feet.

And even more so because you're always moving. You're always on the move. And you think that your daily exercise, when you finish, you have time to go to the gym. Probably not.

And when you finish your long hours waiting tables that you want to go for a jog in the park, probably not want to be on your feet even more than you have to. So they feel that they get their exercise in their work. And it's a little bit more than you want to, but that work is working and that is how she's paying your tuition. So you need to take care of your body's foundation.

And while you're moving and everything is moving, it's not from you moving. It's the people that are walking around and there are other waitresses and other students also working there. And then you're balancing the plates and the dishes, you know, you're serving. So your arms are moving, your feet are moving.

So you're always in motion. So students that are working in the summer, they need to be careful about their foundation. Because I want all your students, all your young people to be up and about, be active and independent in your later years. Yes, there's life after 50 and 60 and 70.

When you're young, you know, right out of high school, you think that, oh, I don't think I'll ever grow old, but eventually one day at a time, you know, time passes. And my aim is to teach you foot wellness. How to take care of your body's foundation. So you avoid injury.

And by the time you age, you know, you go into your senior years, you still have good footage, you still have strong feet. You still have a good solid body's foundation and your foot carries you and you live an active and independent life. And it is a quality of your foot that determines your elder years of life. So right now we're talking about the summer and you just graduated from high school.

And your senior years are far, far away. You know, there's nothing that you're thinking about. Oh, no, that's so far away. I'll never get old and I'll still have lots of decades left.

Yes, you should do. But you need to keep taking care of your body's foundation now that you're working in the summer. And most student jobs in the summer, they require a lot of movement. You know, students are given those jobs that require the most work to be done, the most movement.

So it's from here to there, from there to here and back again, forth again so many times and food and restaurants and fast foods and food places and food service. And that's where you see lots of young people because they have the energy. They have the vitality, you know, they have the speed and they actually move quite efficiently. And so our student over here is working the whole summer.

Yes, every single day possible that she can get those hours in. And she's collecting every penny for her college tuition. I say more power to you. You got stable head, you're collecting.

It's very difficult to add up all those little, little daily wages, but they add up to pay for your tuition. And this girl is very smart and I wish her all the best. And right now you're listening to My House, My Foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio. And I'm your host, Dr.

Welcome to My House, My Foundation on BBM Global Network and Tuning Radio. I'm your host, Dr. Miriam Mourad and I'm here to make a difference. To each person, one person at a time, I'm going to add daily exercise to your life.

Yes, easy exercise which you can easily incorporate into your life without spending more money, without making drastic changes to your life. And today we're looking at high school students. We're looking at students who have just graduated from high school. And my guest today is actually caught in the rain.

We're having very heavy rain and severe downpours. So she is caught in the rain, but I will discuss her as a case study like we plan to. And my guest, she's a smart girl. She just graduated from high school and she's aiming to go to arts college in the fall.

And she's working all through summer and she's got big hopes, big dreams. So she's a young adult, she's barely 18. But she knows that she has to go through college and she's working through the summer to pay for her tuition. And that's a very realistic plan of action that she has, that she's going to work all through summer and she's going to get her tuition paid for.

And she's going to put herself in those fall classes. And she wants to go to arts college. So daily fitness, what type of daily fitness is students to? And now students, you know, the workload is so heavy, especially for this girl of ours, our guest today.

She is working and then she's going to go to college and I was asking her, so you're working through the summer and you're walking. And so, you know, she didn't realise that you need to take care of your feet. I said, well, you're walking and you're using your feet and look at the body, it stands on the two feet. So we want everybody to be mobile, active and lead independent lifestyle.

You know, when you're young, you love your independence and you need to keep that independence and what you require are strong foundation. Yes, you require strong foundation. And so I was talking to her and she says, well, you know what, when I get to college, I don't think I'll get to the gym. And so, you know, I think you're probably correct because you're working.

Every minute that she's going to get on the evenings and the weekends, she's going to go back to her work because that will be less hours as college has started. And she's going to take classes and she's a very serious student. So she's going to attend every class and get all the homework done. And that will take time away from her work.

So she values every hour that she's able to work during the summer. And that's true because if you look at the way the colleges are structured, all those halls, there's long halls. You park the car on one end and even if you took a bus, it's a long walk from the bus stop to your class and those long corridors, libraries on one side, the classes are on one side. So you have to really walk.

So students, you know, they spend a lot of time walking, but they seem to sort of drag their feet and the bags are so heavy with those heavy books and they have to have their laptop with them. And now the books are all e-books. So you have to have your laptop with you. And some of those are not like you.

They're really heavy to carry around all the time. So students, they get a constant workout, but you have to look at the body in terms of the house. The house stands on the foundation. So you have to take care of number one, essential is your body's foundation.

So students, when are you walking between classes? I know it's really long and it seems like it's the way over there. So you have to walk all the way and you'd rather have your friend carry your bag or get you some lunch or get you the drink from the vending machine or the cafeteria. But you have to do it yourself.

There are times you have to do it yourself. So when you're tired or you're just not really in the mood for these long walks, just think of your body's foundation. It's going to support you your whole life. So when you walk these long college corridors, these really long corridors, and then you walk from your classroom to the library, the library back to the classroom, then you have to go from the classroom to the car park and the car parks or the other end and some long walk.

And of course you're carrying your school books and your computer and your laptop and your bags with you. So always maintain good body posture, you know, foundation. So Miami's to teach you the minimum here. It's a good foundation.

So always focus when you're walking in college now that you're an adult. Now you know you're young adult, you're no longer in schools. And you're being more responsible for yourself. And this is the body that you will carry with you in adult life.

So take care of your body's foundation. You know, that's the minimum. And it does not require any gym membership. No gym time, it doesn't cost you anything to take care of your body's foundation.

But you have to think about it. You know, it doesn't come automatically. And when I talk to people, they say, yes, you know, it's correct. Even students, they tend to get tired.

And of course, you know, there's long hours of studying and working. And when you talk about college, I mean, lots of work, long hours and lots of reports to do lots of homework to do. And apart from the homework and the work, then my guest student, she's also having a job, you know, so she has to, she doesn't have a car because she's saving up money for her college institution. So she takes the bus and so it's like, you know, standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus and then getting on the bus.

And sometimes you don't find a seat to sit. And then when you get to work, of course, it's long hours walking on your feet. She's waiting tables the whole summer. And she's going to continue that once the fall semester starts and waiting and working at fast-vos is a common job for the young people, especially students, high school students, college students.

And they sort of add up every day's wages. So it's like a drop in the bucket, but every penny counts and good boys and girls. You know, save the money. Education is really, really valuable.

So my heart goes out to all of those that have to work for their institution. You got to add up and it takes a discipline in a long hours of working and college institution. It adds up and every year I tell you it goes up a little bit. So you have to keep working even though college has started.

So but you got to work. You got to go to college. You got to study. So there's always movement going on.

You're always on the move. You're always moving. And our foundation is actually mobile. So it requires a little bit more care than the house's foundation, which is stationary.

So all your boys and girls that are working through the summer and you're saving up money for your college institution or you're just working through summer. You got to always think about your body's foundation because we tend to let go because all these student jobs, they require lots of standing. You know, it's long hours standing. So you have these jobs that require movement.

You have to lift stuff, take it from here, take it from there. The supply truck is there. You got to pick up those boxes, take it to the supply room, take it from there. Then you have to put it on the shelves.

You know, lots of shopping jobs are there. Shelving. So there's lots of work. And students always get these hard-working jobs then that pay little, but that's what students there are given.

So they have to work their way up. So it's okay. Hang in there. College education is really, really valuable.

And it's worth every penny and every hour and every minute that you put in all this hard work. And so today we're talking about students and we're talking about their summer jobs. And our guest today is a student and she is our guest today talking about her life in the summer. And you're listening to My House, My Foundation on BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio.

And we're looking into the exercise and training. I'm your host, Dr. Mary Marad. And I'm your host, Dr.

Mary Marad. And we're looking into the exercise and the physical activity of students, this show here. And we're looking into our young guests who got caught in the rain, so unfortunately she didn't make it to the show. But I'm using her as a case study to talk about her life, which we had planned to.

And she has just graduated from high school. So exciting. She's 18. She's got her whole life in front of her.

And this summer she's actually working all through summer every single day, every hour, every extra hour that she can get. And she's a waitress in a fine dining restaurant. And she's saving up all of her money for her fall tuition. That's so exciting.

And when you talk to her, she's just so full of positive energy and a huge smile beams across her face. And because she knows she has to work to get a good education and she's aiming toward that positive college. Yes. So she's working and she's going to go into a two-year college program because she's working very long hours.

And college tuition sort of goes up every year. And the two-year college programs are very popular for the young grads. Because it's a newer course and these are more vocational courses. So they have a more hands-on approach.

They teach you exactly the skills that you will be using on the job. So it's more related to job skills. And as soon as you're done with your two-year college degree, most of them, they find a career right there. Because their college two-year tuition is exactly in line to their job searching and their career placement.

And do you know that two-year college students, more than half of them find jobs, which is really a good number, more than half of them, are able to find jobs after they graduate. And when you look at the four-year college, four-year college is longer. It's mostly more academic subjects. The requirement is more, there's more studying that you have to do.

These are mostly your science accounting law. These are your more professional subjects. And so when these students graduate, the percentage of students that find jobs from four-year degrees is just 30 percent, you know, compared to the 51 percent, two-year colleges. So two-year colleges have sprung out and my guest today, she's also investing in a two-year college degree.

And she's going to art school. Yeah, she's going to be an art major. And she already has a beautiful smile and bright eyes. And she definitely does not seem to have any issue with issues.

She's like, exercise, you know, I don't need to lose weight. I walk all day at my work. And that seems to take care of my exercise. But you know, you got to educate them about the need for daily exercise.

Just because you walk all day doesn't mean that you don't need to exercise. You need to take care of your body's foundation. So you've done all your exercise, you know, your sort of your job is related to your physical activity and your daily exercise. And you feel like I've walked so many hours and I can't move.

I'm also like, I can't take another step. I'm not going to the gym. I need to save up as much as I can. And you know, this trend sort of continues into college life.

And this sets up the mindset of the young adults that Jim and Jim takes time and Jim membership is costly. So why don't we just sort of, okay, we'll get to it. Yeah, of course, you know, everybody's health conscious. We like to look at what we eat.

We like to be conscious and we like to be healthy. And everybody doesn't sort of get about doing positive steps, you know. And that is the aim of my show, my house, my foundation to give you the minimum required. Yes, that is the minimum required to put you into a positive standing.

Our physical body stands on its foundation. So you need to spend time every day on your foundation. And that's true for young adults because they're at this time of their life. They're making very serious decisions about their careers.

And college time takes a lot of time. If you're a serious dedicated student, you go to all your classes every day on time. So you're attending all your academic courses. You go home and you do the homework every day.

And there's so many projects that are ongoing. So you know, you have every class has the homework, then they got the projects ongoing. There's so much work to be done. And then where's the time and hour every day to go to the gym?

And that's the truth. That you don't really need an hour at the gym, you know, like everybody thinks you need an hour. That's where the daily exercise sort of gets cut off because we don't have that hour of free in our day. And time is like everybody could use an extra hour in the day.

So I'm here to tell you daily easy steps about how you can incorporate natural exercise into your daily routine. And we're talking about students and students walk long, you know. They don't really sit down. They're up and about.

They're active. And college students, they need to walk. And this is an active time of life. You know, we're making major decisions.

But we sort of tend to neglect our health and wellness because we're young and we sort of really are not sick and we don't need to get to the doctor. That it soon catches up with you. So you got to take care of the minimum foot wellness. You got to avoid injury.

You know, at this stage of life, you're active, you're walking around. You got to take care of your feet. Like the house stands on a foundation. Place your foundation properly.

Avoid injury is so common. You see people the way they sit in libraries under study. And there's two, you know, they got the studious look in. And if you look at the feet, the feet are taking all the stress and the tension.

And so this is my aim is to teach students to take care of their feet. You need to avoid unnecessary injury. Yes, it's absolutely unnecessary injury that we twist and turn our feet while we're sitting down. Place your feet properly like the house's foundation.

And you will be walking. You need to keep your foot structured in order to have the function and stay walking during middle life and older years of life. And it all starts with the same feet that you have out of high school in the summer in your college years. So it's the same two feet that you'll be standing on all your life.

And no one ever thinks about those poor two little feet, but they support whole body weight. So there's less said and you know what your feet are with you always and it didn't cost anything to take care of your feet. And this is my aim is to tell students that your foundation needs daily attention. So if you don't think that your feet really are significant, think about the house's foundation.

And then it falls into perspective because the house stands on its foundation. And the students, they are very active. They're moving all the time and you have a mobile foundation. So the more the need to take care of your feet and place them properly and avoid injury.

You're listening to my house, my foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tuning Radio. And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Amorad. And we'll be right back after this short break.

Welcome, welcome back to My House, My Foundation, and you're listening to the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio, and I'm your host, Dr. Marya Murad. And today we're looking at the life of physical activity and exercise of young adults, high school students who have just graduated.

And in the summer, they're looking and doing these summer jobs and hopefully paying for their college tuition come fall. And our guest today is a very intelligent young girl who unfortunately got caught in the rain, so she couldn't make it here, but I'm talking about her as a case study like we prepped for the show here. And she's going to be an artist, and she's a young girl. And you know what girls like after they graduate from college, she's going to, of course, get her job.

She's working toward that. And then as an artist, she will be dressed colorfully, and she will wear, guess what, high heels. You know, she's going to dress up when she becomes a professional, so she has to take more care of her feet because now she's running around waiting tables all summer. Every hour of the day, every week, all those long hours she can get in because she's adding up and she's saving for her college tuition.

This fall, she's going to an arts college for two years. And she's going to be an artist, so she definitely will be wearing those chic dresses matched up with those high heels. And the higher the heel, the better it looks, unfortunately, that's the truth. So I was telling her, you need to take care of your feet even more because being a girl, you will wear high heels.

And she was like, oh, yes, I love heels. And now I just sort of window shop, you know, as sometimes when we go out with my friends, but when I finish college and I'll be an artist, I have my own job. I'm going to definitely match up my heels, dress them up with my dress. So there'll be color coordinated and style coordinated.

She's an artist, so she needs to be color coordinated and style coordinated. And she's a delicate girl, you know, she doesn't have any weight problems. And she has a beautiful smile, a clear complexion, lovely eyes, a bright eyes. And she's really a pleasure to talk to.

So she's going to art school and she's going to be an artist. And then when I talked about high heels, she was like, no one ever told me about that. Her smile was a little bit serious, I said, this is very important. So you continue taking care of your feet, even though you'll be working in high heels.

You're walking around in sneakers, waiting tables this summer, gathering money for your tuition this fall. And once you complete your graduation, you complete your two-year arts degree from your arts college. And hopefully you'll be an artist. And you know, send me an email that you have finished your art school and congratulations and more power to you.

She's very determined and she's very focused and she's not shopping anything right now. But after she graduates, all the money that was going toward your tuition is now going to serve, take her shopping. And she's going to be buying her dresses, her high heels, all her accessories, and the more the need for caring for your foundation once you start wearing high heels. And she was like, yes, that's of course very important.

And thank you for telling me this because I never heard it from anywhere. And my aim is to teach you natural wellness that you can do with you. Even when you tell somebody to take care of your body's foundation, you know, they really have to like figure out what is the body's foundation. Because we don't talk about it.

And students generally, their mind is not on health and wellness because they are in the best part of their life. So they have the best bodies and they move and they're looking towards a career. And we're talking about high school students making the transition to a two year college degree. So these students are working, working, working.

You know, the only thing on their mind is work. So they can add up everything for their tuition come fall semester. And once some are guests, our lady is very smart, young 18 year old girl. She told me once she finishes paying for her tuition.

Every penny is going to her wardrobe. She's going to dress like a diva and she glances at all these fashion magazines and this one and this one and this one. And I'll say sure, look at those heels. That one and that one and that one.

And yeah, her smile even beamed up even bigger. You know, she has one of those smiles which is unforgettable. It goes from ear to ear and you can see all of her teeth are pretty white. So beautiful, smile, beautiful complexion.

She's got bright eyes. You know, her big eyes, they just light up and so her eyes and her smile goes together and her personality. It just lights up and boy, she's a pleasure to talk to. And I wish everybody had had a good sense of their career and their future.

And when I explained about the body's foundation, the need for proper foot care, she was like, yes, I need to. And immediately she stood up straight. You know, you got to place your foot properly and there's so many things about the feet that we sort of neglect and it's our foundation. And we need to be moving on our foundation all of our life.

So we need to take care of it every day a little bit. Something adds up and girls and high heels. That's a favorite combination. And people say, no heels.

No, I say yes, heels. Just you need to have to know how to take care of your feet because we feel more alive in our heels and we love heels. And the truth is you cannot take the heels out of girls. And you're listening to My House, My Foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio.

And I'm your host, Dr. Mary Mairead. And we'll be taking a short break, so stay tuned. Global Glory.

Welcome to my house, my foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune-in Radio. And I'm your host, Dr. Maryam Marad. And today, our show is dedicated to the life of one student.

I may not be able to change the world, but I'm definitely aiming to change the life of one person at a time introduce daily exercise to them. This is a natural daily exercise that they do not have to spend any money on. They just have to learn how to take care of themselves. So they're able to be mobile and active hopefully in the later years of life-in.

And our guest student today who could make it to the show because we're having terrible heavy rains and she got caught up in the rain. So I'm using her as a case study as we prepared for a show today. And she's going to be an artist and she's working all through summer, yes, all through summer to get to that art school in the fall semester. And that's her aim.

As soon as you mentioned her art school, her face just lights up even bigger. And that's her physical activity right now. She was like, you know, I don't think I'm going to go to the gym or swim or jog or she's so focused on getting working every hour, every day, every minute possible that she can work. Because she knows she has to work all through the summer and collect whatever she can.

So there's no shopping here. It's just collecting money for her tuition. And once college starts in the fall, she will have less hours to work because she's going to be going to class. And hopefully when she graduates from her art school in two years, she's going to be an artist.

And you know what? She plans to open her own studio. And I was telling her more power to you. And once you open your own studio, you'll be a professional.

So all the money that you're taking now for your saving up now for your tuition, you will actually be going to go shopping with it and you will invest in sheet clothes, artistic clothes, colorful, latest style. And guess what? They go with their accessories and high heels. So more the need to take care of your body's foundation.

Yeah, girls, they need to spend a little bit more time than men because we tend to wear heels and heels. It goes with the dress and we love heels. We love to go shopping. And so you need to take care of your body's foundation.

And my aim is to teach every young person out there how to take care of their body's foundation so the foundation holds strong, avoid injury. And when you reach the golden years, 50, 60, 70, 80, you're still walking. Your foot takes your body weight. You have strong feet and you're walking and you're independent.

And that's very important to be independent. So our student today, she does not have time to get to the gym, but we have taught her a few things about her feet. You know, to take care of the foot like the house stands on a foundation. You need to stand on a solid foundation.

And when you're young, you don't really think about the feet and the best thing is to avoid injury. So do little something for your foot that will take you and keep you walking through the older years. So now she's waiting tables and everybody that's working and student jobs are a lot of walking and lots of activity and walking. And they get those ground jobs that you have to work all the way up and students show up in sneakers.

That's the proper footwear for student jobs because there's a lot of walking. And just remember those students that can relate to our guest over here that are in the transition phase going through from high school to college. Just remember to take care of your body's foundation. And you have been listening to my house, my foundation on the BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio.
