My Interview with the Houston Defender: Christ to Ifa

from The Sunsdays on 222.9 The Mothership Internet Radio: The Alabaster Divine · host 222.9 The Mothership Internet Radio

In February of 2026, I was given the honor to have a sit-down interview with Aswad Walker of the Shrine of the Black Madonna Pan-African Christian Church about life as an Orisa Priestess of Oya. We went into the full journey of my childhood, life experiences, and all that led up to my conversion from Christianity to Ifa, and why so many other black people are doing the same. It also contains advice to others on how others can do the same. Of course, the interview that was published in the historic Houston Defender only contained a fraction of the information that was covered. Here is the FULL interview...all 6 parts. This interview was done at the RADO Cafe in the newly renovated historic El Dorado Ballroom. Enjoy!***These Segments run every Sunday on 222.9 The Mothership Internet Radio at 3pm CST, infused with gospel, inspirational tunes, and smooth jazz!********This is one of a 6-part video series.
