In the 1st episode of the Health is Wealth channel and playlists, I discuss my journey with the sleeve, bypass, GERD, cancer avoidance & info not shared in Surgeon's office that I learned along the way. This is the part 1 of a few episodes where I discuss my experience and findings.

Note: Stay tuned for part 2 where I'll discuss:

  • preparation for the sleeve and bypass surgery
  • crucial things to do and issues if you do not do them
  • things I wish someone had told me
  • updates and experiences on my and other bariatric patient's experience and more.

These episodes are good for those who:

  • are unsure about getting bariatric surgery (or are nervous about it)
  • have already decided to get bariatric surgery
  • have had the sleeve or gastric bypass
  • and those who may have had either procedure and may be having some issues, or not
  • anyone who's curious, for themselves or someone else

It's hard to say why certain people or situations inspire a song, but I've learned to be receptive and listen for it. The desire to write a song for someone feels totally spontaneous to me. I guess that's what inspiration is - I'm just inspired to write songs for people.
