- Uncle Ebo shared a life changing story of how he nearly neglected his wife for a christian programme. The Lord spoke to him and he returned home, left later with the wife to the programme and the whole gathering were blessed with her presence. It has been the turning point of his ministry since 1986.- every Christian man's first ministry is his marriage or family.- the real quality of a preacher's message can be determined by the reactions of his wife during the preaching.- there are women who also dishonor God by not respecting or honoring their husbands. They often put up great appearances at church but at home, it is not same.* Ephesians 5:21-24- submissions to each other in marriage, applies to both partners. That is biblical kind of marriage. It is beyond ethnic or cultural norms. We must find out what the Bible says about our roles in marriage.- marriage is not for our sake. It is God's own idea and testimony to the world about the relationship between Christ and the church. The husband must always play the role of Christ in marriage. He must seek God's face in how to represent Jesus in shaping up the wife.* Proverbs 25- the only home of a Christian husband is his matrimonial home...not his ancestral hometown. He must be a pillar and shield for his marriage.* Genesis 2:24 - there is a spirit operating in Ghana, which is opposed to marriage. There are cultural challenges and there are also pressures from society to marry wrong people...which often end up in troubled marriages.
