My Mixtape Life: Hello Hurricane

When we hear a song, it reminds us of a moment in time. A wedding, first date, the day our boyfriend/girlfriend broke up with us, first day of college, when our little child was born… Music really does create a soundtrack to our lives. But, some of those moments stir up things we’ve pressed down inside. Unwilling to address. Moments of hurt, pain and anger. While other moments are joyful, amazing, and remembered daily. In this series, “My Mixtape Life” we’ll take a look at some songs that point back to a greater story, the story of God and all His glory, and how sometimes we hijack that story to point back to us.
