My Mummy Friend
from THRIFTY Hosted by Toddy Tondera
Welcome to another chapter of my Thrifting Audio Diary. Each week I invite some friends of mine out on my Thrifting Adventures. We spend the day scavenging, bring our loot back to the studio, then record what we found. It's with great pleasure that I give you an episode of my friends and I just shooting the s-word. I welcome Kaeli Hood as a first time guest, as well as the returning Ryan Thompson. This Week's Thrifty Finds / Discussion Topics : - Wrestling stuff : WWE Kane "8-"10 Figure (Mattel, 2013), WWE John Cena Figure (2010) - Marvels and Mysteries : Mummies (Paul Mason, 2006) - The night I stopped a robber from robbing my friends house. - Snake, the Aluminum Bat Swinging Bully - Embroidered Heinz Ketchup Blanket (Mid 2000s) - My grade school lunch room gang : Tha Otha Endas - Backstreet Boys Kitchen Magnet (1998) - Our First Albums Purchased, First Concerts Attended - THE ROACH COACH : We take emails from the listeners of the show. What are the grossest items we found while thrifting? A roach purchased one speaker for the price of two, then finds the lost speaker they didn't buy. Is it rightfully theirs? Special thanks to : BLUFFS for "Alternate Reality", the theme to our show for many reasons. (https://steveberes.bandcamp.com) Heel Turn for "Heel Turn" off their debut EP. It's Ryan's band! (https://heelturnpa.bandcamp.com) You can email the show at [email protected] . Tell us about your thrift hauls! I'm sentimentally attached to things you've forgotten. It's time to get THRIFTY!
