MILENA, London based singer-songwriter and piano player, was born and raised in Montenegro. Coming from a music and artistic family, her musical journey started at a tender age. She began playing classical guitar and piano, then, later on, studied at the Music Academy in Montenegro. Along the way, she won various prizes, participated in many festivals and appeared on children’s TV programmes, in musical theatre and TV commercials. Post - Music Academy, she worked as a Radio Presenter and Music Journalist at Capital Radio, in Montenegro. As an integral part of the team, she presented on the still very popular evening show, Sedmica, and personal Saturday show Jukebox. Many jingles that she wrote, produced, and recorded are still in use today. ​Alongside her successful career in Montenegro, MILENA moved to London and became a member of the successful duo “Lite Motive” recording the album “Love”, which was featured on a “Hits Sheet” compilation, alongside George Michael and Ronan Keating. She also performed as a lead singer for various function bands, and jazz ensembles; recording backing vocals for many musicians across the UK, and recorded for Buena Vista International. ​MILENA released two albums until today, "Everyday" and "Higher Hopes", and a number of singles and remixes. Her latest offering, a soulful, powerful, multi-dimensional single, "The Secret Garden", was presented to the world in April 2023.
