My Mysterious Lord by Kai-Anne Clews

from Original Christian Poetry · host Kai-Anne Clews

My Lord, My God, You are a mystery to me - But Oh! Thank God! I am not a mystery to Thee. You know what I have need of before it occurs to me to request it - Your do not break the bruised reed off, In fact, even bruised, it is blessed. So am I in every pain - My every agony, repeats Your sweet name - Wherein once I may glimpse You - I can never be the same. I can bear so sweetly, The rigors of the grave - For in You I am perennial - For in You I am saved.
