My name is Brandon, and I am an alcoholic
from Nashville Restaurant Radio · host New Light Hospitality
October 28, 2019. That is the first day, of the rest of my life. That is the day I officially quit drinking. In today's episode, I talk about it. From my childhood, to present day, what I have learned about myself, and about my alcoholism. This was a very tough episode to record. I asked Jen Ichikawa to join me as she has been a good friend, and I thought she would call me on my BS, and stop me if I got long winded, or preachy, which she did not. (Thank you) I hope you can listen to this episode and learn about me, but hopefully you can take something from it that may be applicable to you in your life. I am honored to be able to bring you this episode. It is my hope that future episodes can open a dialogue around addiction, mental health, and personal and spiritual growth. These are very real issues that affect so many people on a daily basis. I felt like it only made sense for me to tell my story first. I want to thank so many people who have supported me. First and foremost, my wife Jennifer. (she knows why) Steven and Joleyn Smithing, Jen ichikawa, Ray, Edwin, Sam, Matt, Mom and Dad, Stephanie, Ashton, Monty, Jason, Ross, Erin and everyone else who has been a part of this.
