My PR Predictions for 2024

from PR Not BS · host Fiona Scott

My main aim in my professional life as a PR specialist and expert, is to help people and their business or organisation to become more visible.Looking ahead to 2024, in this episode, I predict the things that the media will be engaged with, and share how you can get your voice heard, talking about those themes. I look at more general ‘trends’ to be considered in how PR will continue to be shaped over the next year. This includes the continuing importance of social media, of video content and the growing domination of generations who communicate via online tools. My over-riding point is, as always, strong human-interest stories are incredibly important. And, as sadly, there is further contraction of the traditional media, there will be a great demand for those stories – so it’s vital start thinking and planning ahead. This alone will put you ahead of your peers. Among the trends I talk about, three things I see as important in 2024:The rise of AI will continue, and understanding how to use it well and mindfully is important. Having an authentic voice – personality is going to become more important, not less.  The need to understand Generation Z if you are an employer, or if they are your clients/customers. Also, thought leadership will become more important on LinkedIn. Listen in for more tips and trends! If you would like to contact me, you can visit my www.Scottmedia.uk or join my free Facebook group here https://www.facebook.com/groups/prtribe

NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next. So tune in
