My Reaction To Day 2 Of The 2023 Big Ten Media Days | Big Ten Football 2023

Day 2 of Big Ten Media Days was just as exciting as Day 1. This time, Tom Allen, Mike Locksley, PJ Fleck, Ryan Walters, Matt Rhule, Luke Fickell, and Jim Harbaugh all represented their respective programs at the podium and answered media questions. Locksley, Fleck, Walters, and Rhule seemed like very genuine, father-like figures, talking about Maryland, Minnesota, Purdue, and Nebraska's success on and off the field, along with their strong cultures and rosters. Mike Locksley even stated that his Maryland Football team is ready to compete for the Big Ten Championship! Meanwhile, Tom Allen enters the 2023 season on the hot seat, but he is confident in his roster and has used the transfer portal and the coaching carousel to the best ability. Wisconsin's Luke Fickell looks to continue Wisconsin's tradition of trench play, toughness, and runningback play. Even with the new air raid offense, I think Wisconsin will run the football a lot and Braelon Allen should rush for well over 1,000 yards and around 15 touchdowns. The Wisconsin Badgers should compete for a championship in year 1, as they are Top 4 in the Big Ten in returning production this year and they have an elite coaching staff. Michigan's Jim Harbaugh finished off Big Ten Media Days today, and he impressed me a lot as well, but in a unique way. Harbaugh got up to the podium and expressed his excitement for the 2023 season, and then opened up for questions without any additional statements. I think Jim Harbaugh and Michigan Football understand that they have to be all business and no talk in order to maximize their success. The Wolverines are the preseason No.1 team in the Big Ten and unofficially the preseason No.2 team in College Football per the media. The Wolverines are my preseason No.1 team in the nation, and although Media Days is mostly just public relations noise, I think their attitude today is National Title worthy.
