My Second Birth Story- Precipitous Hospital Birth with Epidural; Postpartum Anxiety

On this episode of Moony Birth Stories, I share my most recent experience with the pregnancy and birth of our second daughter, Miloh.  Andy and I were able to get pregnant after only a couple of months of trying and other than some nausea and heartburn, the pregnancy went quite smoothly.  I had gone overdue with my first baby by 11 days and in hopes of avoiding a Pitocin induction, I had three membrane sweeps near the end of this pregnancy.  Labour ultimately started after the third sweep when I was 4 days overdue.  I share the details of how my baby was born very quickly, in under three hours, after my water broke and regular intense contractions started.  I also share about the difficulties I've been having with anxiety during this postpartum period.Support the show
