Just like you wouldn’t go camping without the needed survival equipment, you need to understand what your goals are and how you are going to achieve them. A great way to do this is by setting goals at the beginning of every month. I set monthly projections with my company at the beginning of every month because this allows both myself and my team to know what we are trying to achieve that month. It’s also super helpful because it helps take the goal out of the hands of fate and proceeds to place the goal in my hands, thus allowing me to really work for the goal and achieve it. Now to help you with planning your monthly projections I have a simple formula for you. It’s “expected/recurring revenue” minus “your wanted revenue” equals “your goal for this month”. This will show you exactly how much money you need to make in this upcoming month to make your monthly projection a reality.
