We often rightly hear of the Creator that all of history is really HIS story. Yet He who made human beings in His own image has also placed them squarely within His story (Ephes 1:4-6), & put the Man Jesus Christ--Himself truly God--at its very center (cf. John 1:1-5; Col 1:15​-19). As we come to new birth in Christ, we discover that God's story of Good News is for us! And as we see our lives through His eyes, according to His purposes, we discover that our story is HIS.
