My Stuff vs My Story | Tiff Cook - 462

****ing look out!  The old Cook-powered cogs have been turning in this inquisitive mind of mine again and churning out some rando thoughts, ideas and questions.  Like, does my stuff matter when I get the story I tell myself about my stuff right? Why does my sense of 'satisfaction' or 'happiness' or perhaps even my 'sense of self' swing wildly in opposing directions at times despite the actual reality of my circumstances or experiences vastly remaining much the same? Does the right attitude make the right circumstances and outcomes fall into place? Would I even care if those circumstances 'fell into place' once my attitude was right and I thus achieved a sense of satisfaction and happiness anyway? Do I believe these questions can even be answered? No, I don't actually...  Because reality is just my perception of how things are. So, these answers I seek would (in my opinion) in the end just be a decision that I make for me based on my own interpretation of my own situation.. of which it is impossible for me to be objective about.  Crikey!
