My Thoughts Monday #39-Jay DeMayo, University of Richmond- Monitor to Help Training First

from CVASPS The Podcast · host Central VA Sport Performance

“What I did wrong was how I communicated that, and it was basically taken as we can never do X and Y, so yeah, that was a screw up, and I did that wrong, and it was part of the downfall for it. I think that if we would have kept it to the monitoring heart rate for caloric expenditure to make sure that these guys didn’t wither away in season I think we’d still be doing it, and it’s something that we would have been able to expand upon in a greater positive sense and allow it to continue to move forward, but because I stepped out of my lane and messed it up. I screwed the pooch and ruined it.”This My Thoughts Monday is brought to you by GymAware, the leading tool to measure your athlete’s weight room performance.
