My Thoughts On Michigan Football's Unstoppable Rushing Attack | Michigan Football 2023

Can Blake Corum bring Michigan Football back to win the Big Ten for the third year in a row and win the Heisman Trophy? Will Donovan Edwards replace Blake Corum as the Wolverine's starting running back? How will Michigan Football's Rushing Attack fair against elite defenses such as Georgia's? These are all questions being asked regarding Michigan's running back room and their rushing attack. I want to answer these questions and more in today's video. I also want to express my predictions for what this running back room will achieve this year. Michigan running backs Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards could be the Top 2 running backs in the nation, as both play at an elite level and combined for over 2,000 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns last year. They had one of the best offensive lines in America last year (Michigan won the Joe Moore Award for the second year in a row) but regardless these two had flashes of their own and made plays sometimes without the help of their lineman up front. With the offensive line returning guards Trevor Keegan and Zak Zinter, along with Michigan reloading at tackle and center through the portal, I think the offensive line and consequentially the rushing attack will improve in 2023. Michigan ran 3,345 yards last year and had 41 rushing touchdowns. In 2023, I think Sherrone Moore's offense will run for over 4,000 yards and have 50 or more rushing touchdowns. Blake Corum will win the Doak Walker Award and Donovan Edwards might be a semifinalist for that as well, but due to split carries, neither will win the Heisman Trophy or even reach the ceremony in New York City. Because of their dominant rushing attack and improvements in the passing game (and one that I think will chew up any defense this year), Michigan will win the National Championship this year.
