My Thoughts On The Sonya Massey Situation.

from African Melanin Queens. · host Goddess Asha Mariama

Let me first say my condolences to her family and her children and the people who knew her. May she rest in peace. In this episode, we’re gonna talk about this situation with Sonya Massey as far as her losing her life to a police officer just because she had hot water on a stove. How just because she said I rebuke you, this police officer decided he wanted to unalive her. It is sad that in 2024 we are still dealing with racial profiling, police brutality, colorism, and not being treated fairly as Black people. It is a shame how a lot of people in the black community are saying negative things about the situation. And what we all as Black people need to learn from this situation of racism, colorism, discrimination, and police brutality. Why black women are being attacked all the way around by other race of women, black men, pick me chicks, and now police officers? Are black women really truly protected? Let’s have this conversation.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/african-melanin-queens--5161875/support.
