My Thoughts or Our Thoughts

Isaiah 55:8 says, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord." The word "way" does not just mean a direction as in a road or means of travel. It also is a method, a style, or manner of doing something. It means an entry or exit from something. It means a particular aspect of something. Jeremiah 6:16 "Thus saith the LORD, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein." What does it really mean to walk in His ways? Believers are encouraged to "walk in His ways". It means aligning daily living, our morals, and our behavior with God's commandments. It is a lifestyle defined by faith, love, humility, and obedience. The Holy Spirit within us is our help.
