My Tribute to Michael Brooks 1983-2020 (RIP) | The Daily Read w/ Marcus Gentry

I've had many influences in my life that has pushed me into doing  political talk, and among them was Michael Brooks rip 1983-2020. This  guy was funny with spot on impersonations of political figures on the  level in my opinion of a Bill Mar. I watched for 8yrs how we minorities  stood back and let right wing racist spew hatred for Obama through  social media, while many of us used it for plain entertainment. But  there was a small group of Progressive's that fought back, people like  TYT The young Turks, The Majority Report, Jesse Dollamore and many  others! Through it all Michael Brooks was that voice that stood with  them, and often stood out because of his wit! Knowing that there where not many black voices in that community i  decided to join in.
