Nebraska Football ended the 2023 season on a sour note, going 0-4 in November after going 5-3 in September and October. The offense was porous, particularly in the passing game, and while the defense played at a great, sometimes elite, level, it could not hold its own forever. I think the 2024 Cornhuskers will be better than their 2023 counterparts. By how much? I don't know. However, I am confident that the offense will improve, especially in the passing game while still making strides on the ground. I also think the defense will remain steady as well, with the bulk of the defensive line and secondary returning. My way-too-early assessment of Nebraska Football is that the Huskers will improve and likely make a bowl game, but they need to capitalize on their schedule early and focus on protecting and developing Dylan Raiola.
