My Wednesday - Martyn Ware
from The Wednesday Week
🎙️ On this special episode of The Wednesday Week, host Dan sits down with Sheffield music royalty — Martyn Ware of Heaven 17 and founding member of The Human League. They take a nostalgic journey through Martyn’s humble beginnings in Sheffield, reflecting on the pivotal moment he chose music over a job at the Co-Op — a decision that would lead him to become one of the most respected figures in British music history. From synth-pop anthems to producing for icons, Martyn shares his incredible story. And of course, as a lifelong Owl, he couldn’t resist weighing in on the current state of Sheffield Wednesday. An unmissable chat full of music, memories, and a bit of Wednesday wisdom. 🎧🦉
