This week author Anna Maria Manolo rejoins me to discuss her latest book "The Way Through The Woods". The book tells of the true story of Krista, a young girl who's life is torn apart by the rise of Nazi Germany as her family suffer the consequences of refusing to comply with the regimes rules. Stripped from her family, Krista eventually escapes into the forests of Bavaria as she attempts to be reunited with her father. The forests hold their own secrets and as both of them discover, the shadows play host to supernatural spirits who also bear the scars of war.
