MYSTERY GIRL (ORIGINAL)

MYSTERY GIRL was written in 2010. It came about during an odd time in my life. I had started on the Parkinson's Drugs, one of which was MIrapex. Mirapex is a horrible drug causing hallucinations. I had met, on line, what I thought was a beautiful woman 32, years of age, who lived in Texas, and was a pilot for a small airline. We had everything in common. We texted for hours, played games on line and I was deeply in love. I had not heard of the term cat fishing at the time, but I sure learned in a hurry what it was. We never met, never spoke on the phone, i never saw a real picture of her. This went on for a good six months. Every odd thing that happened had a weird but plausible explanation. But I was only seeing what I wanted to see. In the end , as far as I know, it could easily have been a 70 year old man. Adds a whole new meaning to the term Love is blind. I was so frustrated at not being able to meet her in person, I wrote this song.
