The mansion used throughout the film is known as Villa Bonita Panama. Written by John Christian Plummer who has written the “Mystery 101” series, “Curious Caterer Dying for Chocolate and Grilling Season,” and “Francesca Quinn PI.” Elizabeth Henstridge stars as Dr. Emilia Priestly. She was in 2019’s “Christmas at the Plaza” and 136 episodes as Jemma Simmons on Agents of SHIELD. Charlie Weber plays Jason Trent. Trent has 41 acting credits on IMDB including last year’s “Christmas Bedtime Stories” and 90 episodes of “How to Get Away with Murder.” Kezia Burrows plays friend and 5% investor Jane Alcott. She has 39 acting credits but this appears to be her first movie for Hallmark.
