Sandra Feras, an Egyptian fashion and travel blogger, is suing Facebook (Meta) after the platform mistakenly marked her account as deceased while she was on a flight. This error, caused by a forged death certificate accepted by Facebook, led to four hours of panic for her family and significant emotional distress for Sandra. She stated in an Instagram video that she will sue Facebook for not verifying the information with her close contacts, especially since her account is verified with a blue checkmark.
