On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, podcast Dan shares the story of harvesting his biggest buck to date and the amazing blood tracking adventure that followed. Even though the shot was back and did not instantly kill the buck, Dan's persistence paid off during the 2 day track job. The blood trail disappeared when heavy rain moved in and Dan was forced to grind search until dark. On a last ditch effort, Dan and a family friend went back to grind search the remainder of the farm. After grinding the first of the remaining ridges, the guys decided to head back down to where they found last blood.
