Today is Veterans Day, and New York City held its 106th Veterans Day Parade to commemorate the men and women who have fought for our country. Mayor Eric Adams had some words for the thousands of people gathered along Fifth Avenue. Connecticut and New York are among 25 states that sued the federal government to reinstate SNAP benefits in the wake of the government shutdown. WFUV’s Xenia Gonikberg reports.
