Los testimonios fueron recuperados en el marco de la Segunda Comisión Ciudadana de la Memoria en la Provincia de Rionegro. Participan en la escritura: María Paula Méndez y Santiago Pulido, estudiantes de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, junto a Gerson Martínez y Astrid Torres, habitantes de Villagómez. Se trata de una experiencia desgarradora que narra el amor de una madre en medio de la violencia más reciente. Un nacimiento frustrado por el terror, pero también, apoyado en la resiliencia de una familia que confió en la fe su proceso de sanación.
