Nada the Lily Chapter 11 - The Counsel of Baleka

In which the narrator, consumed by grief and grievously burned, lies among the ashes of his destroyed kraal and beholds a profound vision of the Inkosazana-y-Zulu presiding over the fate of his people. He confides in Baleka, who counsels him to remain near the king and to seek alliances among the princes, while the king himself summons him to rise in favour and prepare for a gathering that will unearth the causes of their shared calamities.
