Nada the Lily Chapter 22 - Mopo Goes to Seek the Slaughterer

In which the jealous King Dingaan desires the beautiful maiden known as the Lily and sends envoys to claim her, only to be scorned by the Halakazi tribe; meanwhile, the loyal induna Mopo defies the king’s wishes to avoid needless war and is tasked instead to seek out the mysterious Slaughterer of the People of the Axe. As Mopo journeys toward the haunted Ghost Mountain, he encounters eerie signs of the fabled Wolf-Brethren and reflects on the haunting legacies and prophetic words that linger over the land.
