La feroz resistencia ucraniana ha complicado el aniversario al presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin, que, sin embargo, dice que "paso a paso" conseguirá sus objetivos y ha vuelto a agitar el fantasma nuclear en la contienda. Occidente sigue armando a Kiev con modernos tanques, misiles, baterías antiaéreas y le facilitará la compra de munición para responder a los 50.000 tiros diarios de los rusos.
