Naina Ramnani on Reaching those Moments of "Now What?"

What do you do when everything's settled, your coasting and then you feel an itch? Naina Ramnani, ICF ACC certified Purpose & Empowerment Coach discusses expat life in Dubai from the lens of "Your Truth is Calling".Naina was born and brought up in Spain to Indian parents, studied in the UK and is now living in the UAE with her family. She started off her professional career as a stock trader, later as an entrepreneur and after a lot of deliberate and not so deliberate pauses, has found her purpose as a life coach.We discussed expat life in Dubai - after finding a home and getting the kids settled in school, life was basically filled with moments of "living in the car", transport to and from school, kids activities, dinner, bath time, bed time. Being a busy mum in that environment looked like, "Waiting for the weekend" as everyone was busy doing things on auto pilot. We also discussed reaching forks in the road where Naina and her husband decided to close down a business they were passionate about but had to re-assess if they would continue during the pandemic. We looked at moments in her story where she had inkling and gut hit of what she might like to do with her life and decided to not pursue it. We explored those moments of "what if" , "what if I changed tracks and pursued this instead?"
