When former photographer and wellness coach Nakada wrote Heart On Break in 2016, he was amongst the first authors advocating for modern men to actually take a complete break from relationships to focus on becoming better men before dating again.   Nakada contends that most men are failing at relationships because they don’t know themselves nor their life’s true purpose and exert too much energy into being validated by women. He suggests that a man fully submerges himself into the process of healing from his traumas and self- discovery to first find and then begin following his life’s purpose.
