NAMI Missoula hosts NAMIWalks September 18th at Silver Park in Missoula

Mary McCourt of NAMI Missoula stops by the Lunchbox to visit with Mike Smith about the upcoming event to create awareness of mental health conditions This will be NAMI Missoula's first walk to bring together people of all ages to combat stigma, raise funds, and promote awareness of mental health conditions. The event starts 12:30pm on Sunday , September 18th at Silver Park in Missoula, featuring activities and music by Lucky Penny. Proceeds from this event will help raise awareness and money to support NAMI Missoula programs. NAMI Missoula provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.
