以我们中国文化而言，知识分子、读书人应该有个什么目标呢？我们现在读书是为了什么？对不起啊，诸位同学为了什么，我不知道。我现在是提一个口号，很难听，“教育无用论”，教育无用。我也反对现在这样的教育，是在糟蹋人才，贻害未来。譬如一个乡村的孩子，父母很辛苦地培养他读了书，读到中学糟蹋了一半，读到大学，完了！这个孩子永远不回来了，到上海、北京各个闹市居住，要发财，要爬金字塔的那个塔尖上去。农村那么辛苦，培养一个孩子出来，农村丧失了一个人才，没有人了！今天这个教育是在树这个金字塔，都向上面爬。而教的是知识，不是学问啊！人格没有养成，做人做事都不对，对社会国家有什么真正益处呢？
