1456. július 22-én ért véget Nándorfehérvár ostroma, mely során a Szilágyi Mihály és Hunyadi János vezette hadaknak sikerült megtartani az erősséget II. Mehmet szultán oszmán csapataival szemben. A 65 évvel később, 1521. június 25-én kezdődött ostrom során azonban már az oszmán erők kezére került a végvár. A két ostrom kapcsán beszélgettünk Cseh Valentinnel.
