Naomi Creek - Flinders Island

Some people travel the world searching for adventure.Others quietly build an adventurous life right where they are.In our latest Travel With Us A While podcast episode, I had the pleasure of chatting with Naomi Creek, who lives on beautiful Flinders Island.Naomi first visited the island in 2015 and felt that familiar tug that many of us experience when we arrive somewhere special. A few years later she packed up her car, brought it across on the boat, bought a small house — and started a new life on the island.Her friends thought she was brave.Some thought she was slightly mad.But Naomi knew it was the right decision.What makes her story even more inspiring is that Naomi has lived with rheumatoid arthritis since she was just twelve years old.
