Naomi Mack- Talks The Importance Of Collaboration, Her Love For Auditioning & How Living Life Freely Has Created Opportunities For Her

from The Actors Lounge · host Melanie Victor

Naomi Mack is a ball of fiery energy with a love for the arts, health, and athletics. She’s a magnetic actress, fitness instructor, model, and host with an adventurous, down to earth spirit. Though her vibrant commercial look is as undeniable as her smile, she is drawn to the raw and unpolished parts of life that she hopes her acting roles will reflect. Growing up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, her mother started her early in dance and Karate. It was when her family relocated to Atlanta in middle school that she joined the track & field team and started performing in school plays. She continued with both through high school until she was recruited by Kennesaw State University on a full ride track scholarship where she studied film production. As soon as she graduated with multiple conference championships rings in the Heptathlon ( consisting of the 100 hurdles, shot put, long jump, high jump, javelin, 200 and 800 meter run), she hopped back into acting classes and never looked back. With experience in front and behind the camera, she works as both talent and crew in as many films as she can get her hands on. Although her focus lies on artistic independent work, some of her most recent acting credits include co-starring roles in HBO’s upcoming series Lovecraft Country from Jordan Peele, BET’s American Soul,  and OWN’s Queen Sugar. Naomi's natural curiosity, work ethic, wide array of talents and “do it yourself” attitude has always been a winning combo for her. Stay tuned for this rising star.
