Napoleon's Visit on Tisha B'Av
from Numu Jewish Bedtime Stories Hosted by Mazel Day School
When Napoleon secretly visits a synagogue on Tisha B'Av, he expects to find a celebration; but instead discovers a room filled with tears. Moved by what he sees, he learns why the Jewish people have never stopped mourning the Beit Hamikdash or hoping for its return. Tonight's episode reminds us why we still mourn the Beit Hamikdash, and how our own acts of Ahavat Yisrael can help rebuild it.
