NaPoWriMo 2022 || Ep. 6 - Contrapuntal ||

from The Loudcast · host I Am Loud PRo

Thank you for tuning in to this episode of NaPoWriMo 2022!  The month of April is National Poetry Writing Month. Founded in the US in 2003, poets around the world join the challenge of writing poetry every day for thirty days. Here at I Am Loud HQ we do NaPoWriMo a little differently, by doing 5 poems across 5 weeks in April.  Using 5 Forms from Return to Form Season 2, each week host Bex Sherwood guides regular guests Dr Katie Ailes, Kevin Mclean & Mark Gallie in conversation about poetic form, and writing practice, and invites them to share their work from the week.  This is the penultimate episode of NaPoWriMo 2022. All of us have completed our final challenge of writing a Contrapuntal poem, but next week we'll be sharing work from other poets and wrapping up this year of NaPoWriMo!  Here are the links from the episode!  Outwith by Katie Ailes: https://youtu.be/oQF0O2VPMVk Contrapuntal Workshop: https://youtu.be/m0Flk7A31a4 Contrapuntal by Harry Baker: https://youtu.be/XgjZsTzrL5o Our Instagram: Instagram.com/IAmLoudPro Insomnia by Kevin Mclean: https://youtu.be/OWdbIl39D9U Standard Habbie Workshop: https://youtu.be/RNfu4yMT-zw Palindrome Poetry: https://youtu.be/GOuebcLW_t4 Dawn French Ballerina Sketch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRN17AJ0RY8 Mirror by Rita Dove: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poetrymagazine/poems/153518/mirror-5eb219fd3ffe1  Samsung Advert on the News: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4-8XrXKu_A Cont by Tim Minchin is available on Netflix within "Tim Minchin and the Heritage Orchestra Live" Katie's hate Shelley Poem: https://youtu.be/g6DBwCkQm5Q Hollie McNish: https://holliepoetry.com/ Don't trust poets by Mark Gallie: https://youtu.be/55F48xPRYTM Follow us!  Katie: www.twitter.com/KatieAiles || www.instagram.com/katie.ailes Kev: www.twitter.com/KevOutLoud || www.instagram.com/KevOutLoud Mark: www.twitter.com/MarkGallie_ || www.instagram.com/mark_gallie Bex: linktr.ee/bexcreative
